AA Passenger plane has crashed in Queens, live video on Fox News... Developing!

"If the eyewitnesses are correct about the wing falling off then this was NOT a mechanical failure. The wing is the strongest part of the plane. The fuselage is more likely to fall off the wing. If the wing fell off then it was broken off. This could only be done by a midair collision or a bomb."

Until we get experts on the scene, do we KNOW if it was the entire wing, the tip, one of the horizontal stabilizers, etc., etc.,??

If somehow the plane exceeded Vne (as the pilots tried to recover) and the wing was damaged by fire/debris/whatever, it could fail.

Bear in mind I FEAR it was an explosion, but I am not ready to believe it was more than mechanical at this point.

The reference was to an OBL letter in 1998 to one of his lieutentants outlining how he would wage jihad against America: 1)bring down their airliners; 2)occupy their embassies, 3)disrupt their shipping, and 4)force them to close their banks and businesses.

Perhaps he has decided that #1 is the easiest of these to do, then he will do the rest. Sept. 11 was designed to do both #1 and #4, but did not work. Apparently some of the plane today has fallen into the water, and there are lots of Coast Guard and police boats there now. Could be a good diversion for an attack on the Port of New York later today.

I know it's been posted before, but it bears repeating. How high does the body count have to get before we round up these illegal aliens and either deport them or put them behind bars?

Fox also reporting that the FBI has told the White House that there was an internal explosion on board the aircraft.

Fox says that President Bush is saying that the FBI says they believe there was a bomb on board.

ABC just reported the same .. but then some guy came on and said that the Bush people could be wrong
