Not only sleepers there, what about sleepers in maintenance positions at the airports? We can't stop any of these people if they're working on the planes.

Eyewitness on Fox News reported wing landing at gas station on 129th street. Fox now is saying that an engine landed there. The eyewitness said it was a wing though.

Cavuto on Fox News seems to be trying to promote the accident theory over terrorism mainly cause he seems to want to calm fears. I don't agree with his premature conjecture.

I really hate to promote this leftist station, BUT, NY1 just showed a piece of the plane at a Queens gas station, and said that employees and local residents had worked together with hoses to contain the small fire. It's out now (phew! imagine a gas station going up as a result). Now they're showing a curved piece of debris on a rooftop.

It has been my experience that these guys are really good at covering local situations, as I said in an earlier post. Their coverage of the 1993 WTC bombimg was by far the best.

The media recount was _first_ scheduled to come out in September, but got delayed because of the 911 attacks. Now, when the story does come out, we have another plane crash...

Last night, Drudge said it was originally supposed to come out in the spring, then September, then today. We really are at postponement #3.

exactly. but you would think sleeper maintenance folks would have to be pretty sneaky to not get caught. Unless these airlines are infested with them. Which would make sense if I was the enemy and time was my ally.

As far as our military jets scrambling to intersect or shoot down this plane, I haven't heard anyone mention the speed of the plane at take off. I think it's around 200 MPH, so if the crash site was 5 miles away, as MSNBC reported, the plane was only in the air ~1/40th of an hour, less than 2 minutes before the crash. No plane could get there fast enough to make any difference.

Yes, you're correct. Soon they will twist things so that all the people who did see clear evidence of a bomb will be silenced.

It happened to witnesses who saw a "shooting star" hit the TWA 800 flight.
If it were terrorists, and with the economy shaky, and airlines going bust, would they pull another Clinton and lie about it again??
I'm from upstate NY, and I've heard the witnesses to TWA 800 complain because they were ignored. They tried to sue for testomony, but you all know Reno, so.....

Confusion prevails. Fox news is broadcasting that it was an airbus A300 in the process of taking off. It may take a while before the truth comes out. Witnesses report two seperate impact sites, with parts falling from the sky. Implication is that there was an explosion or other failure while airborn.
