Bill Clinton, the former president, said yesterday that terror has existed in America for hundreds of years and the nation is "paying a price today" for its past of slavery and for looking "the other way when a significant number of native Americans were dispossessed and killed."

"Addled minds may attempt to disminish these attacks before the American public, saying we had this coming, not unlike a rapist blaming his victim, but my fellow Americans, you know this is not the case, this is good against evil."
That would be sweet, yes.
Any American company that hires this man to speak is un-American and should be boycotted. I have had enough with this idiot.
There must be some limits to what former presidents can say. If they spout anti-American sentiments then I say all their perks should be pulled.
I am sure that the Secret Service agents assigned to this pervert must feel as if they are in purgatory. How can they stomach seeing his pasty white, red-nosed, smirking face every day! I would throw up.
He is a mentally ill man--and I suggest that we inundate the Senator's offices with postcards telling her to have him committed immediately. It would save taxpayer money by not letting him run around the world talking against America.
As for his premise--Indians lost their land (and I am sorry), but they also had a choice to join us and to become part of American society. It wouldn't have been easy--but the possiblity was there. Furthermore, I am sick of the PC stuff that all Indians were pure and one with the earth. They could be just as miserable to each other as we were to them. As to the blacks--well, I am sorry that they brought you here against your will. And I am sorry for the years that you were disadvantaged. But don't give me any more bull about not having the chances in today's society. Look at two of the major players in our government--Colin Powell and Candolizza Rice. And Clinton's words don't go for most blacks who have been wonderful citizens and wonderful role models. I am thinking of all the blacks who served and continue to serve in our military. Heroes who go all the way back to the Revolution. These are blacks who are proud and beautiful and great Americans. Whatever you say, America is still and always will be the greatest country ever. I don't see many blacks in this country who would want to live in Africa--and don't tell me that Africa might be different if the blacks that were taken to America had not left. The fact is that the tribes are still fighting each other--and nothing we have tried to instill in them about working together and building a great and FREE country have worked.
I think that most American Indians and blacks love this country as much as any white or yellow or polka-dotted person. Because they know that this is the land of opportunity. Ask Oprah. Ask Bill Cosby. Ask my dentist--he's black, he's beautiful, and he is an American success story. Raised in Harlem, he worked his way through school waiting tables and washing cars. Today--thanks too my teeth--he is driving a new yellow Porsche! I can't afford a Porsche--but I don't begrudge him his success. I am proud to know him. A good neighbor. A good dentist. And most important--a good American!
Unlike Clintoon who should be sent to Siberia.
That pretty much sums it up. Clinton, who was just as responsible as anyone for the lowered state of security, now points it out and says it needs to be fixed.
What an idiot.
By Frumanchu!
By VOYAGER!
When these empty headed idealistic "college" students cheer this filthy liar, individually it makes each one more of an idiot than he.
It is accurate to say that those who have been given much there is a price to pay which is much greater than those who have been given little!
This human scum Clinton was given the opportunity to be something other than what he is when he was elected the first time and an extra unction when he was elected the second time but true to his nature, that of the pack's lead dog in pursuit of a female dog in heat, he let it all run out the end of his pee pee!
I believe he senses this, in some weird way, and is now attempting to lessen his psuedo feeling of guilt(a feeling foreign to his very nature)by trying to cause others to feel guilty about something that has absolutely nothing to do with the war we are now in against terriorism.
This scum Clinton is beginning to sense the feeling of loneliness that comes to those who once were in power, and didn't handle it responsibly, and are now has beens and know it isn't going to improve.
He has entered into the fearful beginnings of the payday someday syndrome that comes to all who failed to accomplish anything of value during the productive time of their lives and have arrived at the end of their glory years(wasted youth, lost health, power, position or ability)and need to involve others in their downward rush to the final payday for their riotous living.
This filthy liar is reverting back to his irresponsible juvenile days of the 60's by surrounding himself with kids with heads full of mush(thanks Rush)ideals, "nutty professors" and their bodies possibly influenced by mind altering drugs, an easy target to say the least, and certainly in his league.
"Addled minds may attempt to disminish these attacks before the American public, saying we had this coming, not unlike a rapist blaming his victim, but my fellow Americans, you know this is not the case, this is good against evil."
lance, you're good at lancing boils and clymers apparently. That is brilliant!
LGE, thanks for the the flag. Hi yo, Sillllver!
Oh, it's just that easy, huh? Well, obviously YOU aren't ignoring him, so why should I?
I'll ignore him after his worthless lungs draw their last sorry breath.
'Mr. President, Middle Eastern terrorists have just flew planes into both towers of the WTC!'
Uh, uh, OK, we'll engage them in dialog and find out why they are angry! Oh yeah, declare martial law, round up the right wingers and kill them. Their fingerprints are all over this attack. Anyway, tell Al Queda they gotta come to the negotiation table or we will lob a cruise missile at them. Don't worry, we'll get 'em in touch with their feelings and have this whole problem resolved by the end of the week.
One of Jefferson's early actions (even prior to the U. S. Constitution) was to stop the importation of slaves into Virginia. He might try reading Edmund Burke's "Speech on Conciliation" of 1776 for further enlightenment on the subject, from the British perspective.
Many of the Framers of our Constitution spoke eloquently against slavery, and, although Union had to be the primary concern for the new constitution, they did, in fact, provide that it could be dealt with after 20 years. Had they not made that compromise on the question, Union would have been impossible.
Bill Clinton, or any serious student of the American founding, should read carefully the voluminous writings of the people of the time, rather than post-game quarterbacking them.
Had Bill Clinton accomplished as much in his lifetime on behalf of liberty for the entire human race as did the founding generation and those of the next 150 years, then he might be entitled to pass such a judgment.
Inasmuch as his own acts and unwillingness to lead have, in large measure, brought about September 11, 2001, and the resulting loss of liberty, he should consider that the Founders accomplished miracles in their brief lifetimes on behalf of liberty, and that while the blight of slavery has existed and does exist in many societies throughout history, its abolishment in America was made possible by the provisions of America's written Constitution.
For a former American President to be propagating such error and fomenting more division and "blame America" tripe is inexcusable, and he should be called to account for it--especially before young audiences who have been the products of the union-controlled "dumbing down" of school children and may not know better.
Clintoon is always attempting to rewrite history and put "itself" in the center of whatever trend he can identify, "It" always had no identification with anything except whatever was populat at the moment. "Its" actions demonstrated a criminal lack of both understanding as to the nature of the problem and an even greater lack of doing anything inorder to stem the problem.
Curiously, seems I clearly recall the Clink-butt boy & sycophant Bill Maher was drug across the coals for saying something a good deal less inflamitory than Clintigula, eh?
There's solice to be had in imagining SENATOR Hillary going into a tirade when he slimed-through the door later that night after whoring about -- ashtrays & lamps flying hither & fro' laced with mixed & assorted profanities in between screams of, "Big Mouth," "Lame-Brain," and "$Hit-for-brains _________"? Yea. :o)
btw; Some guy called Rush this afternoon & astutely pointed out the Sink Emporer's speeches on his "positions" will always change to, "play the room."
The caller asserted the X42 traitor has no core values & has, can, & does mold his blatherings to fit whatever *position* he's lieing about at any given moment.
~Much in the same way a leech can distort to fit any shape it's placed into?
This guy made a lot of sense.
Of course, the great Limbaugh was too busy talking over the poor sot (IMO) to really get the full impact of this man's excellent observation.
Although L was magnanomous enough to grant this poor caller some credence; the lovable fuzzball effectively succeeded in minimizing his guest (again), quite nicely.
The guy ever calls again, he oughta say he's a Liberal. ~Geshhh.
Some days I oughta listen to my *inner self* & just leave that damned radio off...
