Maybe this was a vote against Bill Clinton, eh? :)More likely it was at least partially a We're-really-sorry-we-voted-for-Hillary vote!
Now we get to see her other friend Andy Cuomo get his ass kicked next year.
Bloomberg will not go to the bathroom without asking Rudy. He doesn't have a clue about how to run New York. Rudy just got himself another four years in the front seat, we just won't see him using the foot controls while Bloomberg holds the steering wheel. ;^D

It appears we live in a generation where liberal thought has won the day.Oh, stop the gloom and doom. Your global assertion applies only to the Northeast and the Left Coast. All the Red Zone are belong to us.

This is the race that the media was waiting to rub in our faces. Hahahaha..... There were just a thousand "damn!"'s spoken throughout the halls of our mediamaniacal institutions.
You're exactly right. If for no other reason, I'm glad Bloomberg won so that Terry McAulife will be forced to keep his stupid piehole shut.

I agree totally. We have a Florida brewing in St. Paul even though they are both Dems. Our popular Mayor passed the torch to one of them who is a least a fiscal conservative.

There goes McAwful's prediction of a Dim sweep. Oh, how sad. <sarcasm/

I think that's right. Bloomberg may not have the public experience, but it will be much easier for him to work with Rudy.
The other real victory tonight is that another outlet for Clinton has been turned off. We won't see him schmoozing with NYC's mayor now!
Bloomberg's a RINO, but worlds better than the alternative.

Sometimes an election is, literally, the lesser of two evils. Although we strive for an ideal, game theory demands that we choose the "lesser".
Even Jesus picked disciples who were highly imperfect. Maybe time will improve Bloomberg, too.

I didn't follow the NJ race closely, but it appears that he wasn't given a lot of public support by Bush. Contrast that with what Rudy did for Bloomberg. Did someone tell W he can only use his 90 percent approval to fight terrorists and anthrax? Can you imagine what the Dems would be doing with that kind of public sympathy and support? Only Republicans would fear doing anything lest their support "fall" to 60 or 70 percent.

It doesn't matter to me if Bloomberg is a RINO. Whenever KKKlinton endorses a candidate, they need to be beat.

George Will said that Bloomberg is a liberal democrat. He just thought it would be easier to win the primary on the Republican ticket.Yup. And he told his pregnant girlfriend "KILL IT! KILL IT!" (and she did). Rudy was pro choice, Bloomie is pro abort.
Bloomberg is worse than Green. The only thing the lib 'rat in disguise did is to infiltrate the GOP and move it further left in NY.
To: Salvation
How many stations would have broke in if Green would have win. And did not Sharpton endorse Bloomberg?
To: dandelion
RAH! I know Bloomberg's a liberal RINO, but even a liberal RINO is better than a communist democrat... No kidding. In a sense, the democrats won all 3 races. Of course, I will never admit to it. But hell with it, I will take 1 out of 3 in tonights skirmishes.

You are right. Believe me, living amongst it for your entire life can have one helluva effect on your outlook (Daniel Ortega is more popular in my city than Bush is).
Don't want to be too gloomy -- but all the big cities, they're in the bad zone. And that's not too good when pluralities take the day.
To: MHT
Lesser of two evils? I think that more often it is less evil to have the Democrat be the wolf in wolf's clothing, rather than have the wolf dressed in Repbulican sheeple.

I cant believe Fox was the only one covering that concession speech. If it were flipped around, all the stations would of covered it.Nothing ever changes

I'm glad Bloomberg won so that Terry McAulife will be forced to keep his stupid piehole shut.Don't hold your breath. If this guy is brazen enough to call Elizabeth Dole a carpetbagger (as Zell Miller later said, how Hillaryous can you get?) he will not hesitate to whine about Bloomberg buying the mayoralty, conveniently forgetting about the Senate Multi-Millionaires Club featuring John Corzine, Maria Cantwell, John Edwards, Mark Dayton, Ted Kennedy, John Kerry, Dianne Feinstein, and Hillary! herself - not to mention $200 million man Mark Warner.
To: Dano
Here we go...CNN just broke in. FINALLY. Fox News has had the story for 30 minutes.
