So glad that the "Kennedys" put a little bit of their magic powder on Green---what a lucky charm! Guess their clout ("Caroline is here with Tatiana...blah. blah, blah...") just ain't what it used to be!

I read that Bloomberg only changed his registration from Democrat to Republican in order to get on the ballot, and that he is a friend of Bill's.
Is this true?

Good job Fox!!! They're the only ones covering it. Live Green right now.

Green just conceded - after mentioning that he was outspent.

Bloomberg gives RINO's a bad name but at least we can stick it to the Dems and who knows, maybe he'll be a decent mayor like that other RINO, Rudy, although Bloomberg has a hard act to follow, there.
A win is a win and in NYC, unfortunately, a Bloomberg is as good as it gets - for a Republican. I'll take it.

RAH! I know Bloomberg's a liberal RINO, but even a liberal RINO is better than a communist democrat... I agree but some people can't tell the differnce bewteen a Rino and a communist. Rinos are always better because there closer to conservatives than communists. It's easier make conservative reforms after a Rino than a communist. The communists move so far to the left it takes forever to move back to the right when a conservative gets elected.

Bloomberg is a former Clinton doner. Are we supposed to celebrate? Though, he seems a wee bit less liberal than Green. Watchout for liberal Republicans. They sell their souls for power in a sea of Democrats, so they make many deals with liberal groups that socially conservative Democrats might not. Between Weld, Celluci, and Swift, three successive Republican governors, they have rolled over to liberal interests more than Ed King, a Democratic govenor, would have ever dreamed.

Outstanding...

He is just a Guiliani Republican, not a true hard core, but a step better than Koch.. It is truly a good thing..

absolutely right. during the campaign, he refused to say whether he had voted for hillary or gore. meaning that he had.

Fox carry Green concession live as I type.
My family and I were in NY city in June. Of course, it was special since we went up on top of the WTC center. Also, as we watched the local TV then, there was so much about this race. None of the local TV were giving Bloomberg a chance back then. Now to see this, is really special. It will be great to see a republician rebuild NY city!

Well, he may be a liberal democrat but, this time with the Republican label, he's "our" liberal democrat. It's going to be interesting to watch a big-time Clinton supporter have to use the best of supply-side economics to re-build a city.
