I don't know what he said. I am guessing it was something like, "Great, you took my nail clippers, but let me take the gun with me." He probably meant it as a sarcastic joke. Nevertheless, he should have been immediately stopped and searched by Police or FBI.

The majority of people from Nepal may be Buddhists, but there is also a small Muslim population. Check your geography books.

The one and only area where Federal workers makes sense is in the security arena.

The problem with making feds out of security screeners is just that: to satisfy the PC watchdawgs, we will simpy have to hire all those poor screeners who will lose their jobs. So, we wind up with better-paid versions of what we have now.

IMHO, aiport security is a job for the military. Those folks are accountable for their performance. They're specialists -- and, by the way, highly underpaid.

2. How would making airport security drones Federal employees help anything?

Well, for one thing, they would get better retirement benefits, for another, they would get better health care benefits. For yet another thing, they would be paid more and for still another, they would become almost impossible to fire.

Finally, they would all be suddenly eligible to become members of AFSCME.

And doesn't this list of things help? < /sarcasm >

But then your hands are deadly weapons. Can't carry those on the plane, have to leave them at home.

I agree 100%. When I say 'Federalize' the workers, I mean militarize the airport security, as though it were a US border (Hmm, crazy thought). I do not mean simply hire the same un-trained airport crossing guards back as Federal security officers.

Colfax said Gurung previously lived in an apartment at 1025 W. Hollywood Ave., where Ayub Ali Khan once lived. Khan has been detained by authorities as a material witness in the Sept. 11 attacks, but it is unclear whether he knew Gurung.

Buddhist or not, this is a coinkydink that requires serious looking into.

I found this on the Islamic Voice website

I wonder if this is the same Ayub Ali Khan that roomed with Subash. Does this letter make any sense or is it just me.

People of Cave

Sir,

Alhamdulillah, the author of the ‘People of the Cave’, did a wonderful job in presenting the story of the Ashab-e-Kahaf. However, there is one more angle to the story that was presented by Imam Alauddin Bakri at the annual commencement and graduation ceremony of the Institute of Islamic Education in Elgin near Chicago. Before the speech, the Imam came to the the institute and observed the students who were memorising the Holy Qur’an. He observed that the students , while memorising, were changing their position and were changing by shifting from one foot to the other. When he saw this, he said, he knew the reason for the Ashabe Kahaf changing their position while sleeping. The reason was the circulation of the blood.

Yes, look at what a great job the federal workers at the INS did in keeping the terrorists from entering the country. Don't allow pilots to be armed though. We can't trust the pilots. They're not federal workers.

Article can be subtitled "After CNN does background check, cops and FBI pick up perp to appear (finally) in front of judge.".

I guess someone in the FBI is taking some heat for CNN doing a better job at checking this guy out than the FBI. They are so afraid of profiling that they are letting suspect get away.
