Boy, Clintoon is sure screwed.
Stay away from the Communist Manifesto. According to the crazies in here, you'll turn into a Communist.
Also stay away from reading the Koran. That makes you a Muslim.
Also stay away from reading Al Gore's Earth in the Lurch. That'll make you boring. ;-)
Also avoid Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. That'll make you an atheistic libertarian type.
When you figure it out, please wiggle that nose and make those who show contempt for the Bill of Right disappear. Thanks in advance.
Wonder if Samatha's used regular or unleaded...
I think the same logic would apply there.
To warn of the dangers is not to despair of the solutions. Most of all, this book is a call to action and hope. Whether our purpose is to preserve the simple pleasure of fishing in a mountain stream on an autumn morning or the simple security of knowing that our children's drinking water is safe - to save an endangered species, an endangered wilderness, or an endangered earth - we have it in our power to restore the earth's balance before the growing imbalance inflicts its greatest potential damage on our children and grandchildren. Today the human species is the only one with the self-knowledge and the capacity to protect its own future.
...
Our challenge now, which requires the education of us all and the raising of our collective awareness on a global basis, is to restore and save the earth even as we add still more members to the human family. This will not be easy or simple; there will be setbacks, and fierce resistance from those who profit from pollution.

And from Mein Kampf by Adolph Hitler
The foreign policy of a People?s State must first of all bear in mind the duty of securing the existence of the race which is incorporated in this State. And this must be done by establishing a healthy and natural proportion between the number and growth of the population on the one hand and the extent and resources of the territory they inhabit, on the other. That balance must be such that it accords with the vital necessities of the people.
What I call a healthy proportion is that in which the support of a people is guaranteed by the resources of its own soil and sub-soil. Any situation which falls short of this condition is none the less unhealthy even though it may endure for centuries or even a thousand years. Sooner or later, this lack of proportion must of necessity lead to the decline or even annihilation of the people concerned.
Well, actually, Harry is quite wealthy, but his "muggle" Aunt and Uncle don't know that. Harry learns of the wealth when he goes off to Hogwarts. Part of the story line involves the fact that Harry always has money while his best friend Ron, comes from a large, working class family and wears a lot of hand me downs...
Yikes! Right you are. Will you at least concede that mentally, he thinks of himself as poor in material things?
You know what's really bad? Christians who choose the parts of the Bill of Rights they like and throw out the rest. Now THAT'S bad!!
¶ Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
