I think we should observe Ramadan with a month-long BARBEQUE for all our troops. Mmm, mmm, PORK!

I think that in Clintonian fashion we should redefine our bombing as a fireworks display to celebrate Ramadan. The Imans and Mullahs would gratefully accept this explanation since it is consistent with their demonstrated logic.

Let's put it this way. The United States has a "religious" holiday. It begins September 11th, 2001, and it ends with the death of the last terrorist on earth- end of story. If the Islamic leaders wish to join in our religious holiday they are more than welcome. We simply do not stop paying heed to our holiday because someone else is paying heed to theirs.

I think that settles the Ramadan question quite nicely.

How should the U.S. observe Ramadan in Afghanistan?

Might I suggest a nice fireworks display? Followed by a hog roast and kegger?

Its ridiculous to think that Arabs are going to love us more when we disregard their holy days.

Yeah. Let's go over there and kiss their asses. Maybe then they'll love us and stop killing innocent people, eh?.
Imagine.....
