But according to the Hadith, Hell will be mostly populated by women. See Burkhari vol 1, no.28; vol. 1, no. 301; and vol. 3, no. 161.

Jamie can't have it both ways: the Bible also mentions beating women and slaves. I'm sure modern Christians don't believe in it, so why should we hold up muslims to the same standard?
As for 4:34 verse a quick search on the internet gets you
this link which says that the word 'beat' doesn't have the same meaning as it does in English, but is more like admonish.

So where are the "lies"? If you disagree with some guest on a talk show about something the host is a "liar"? Strange stuff.

What with the unleashing of
Puff The Magic Dragon, there's a lot less wife beaters on the planet tonight.

Im very confused.
Let me clear this up for you. Oprah made a mistake with the title of the program. She thought it was a serious introduction to Islam - Islam 101
It wasn't. It was comedy - Islam lol
Got it? - lol :^]

UGH! I watched that Oprah episode and was disgusted by it. The most appalling segment was the one she did with the Queen Of Jordan (who happens to be a Palestinian). When asked about honor killings in her country, the Queen stated "we are trying to make people in our country MORE AWARE THAT THIS IS WRONG".
When the Queen was asked about "right wing fundamentalist" who see her as a threat to Islam, she stated that in HER country she would respect their right to have their opinion, but she wasn't going to change.
When the Queen was asked to explain the fundamentalist problem, she stated "these isn't indicative of Islam itself. It's no different than right wingers who kill people at abortion clinics." (Excuse me, but has anyone noticed how these Islamics will always bring that up to make a point about Christians?)
The problem with Oprah's show was there were no Christians allowed at the show. It was merely set up for MUSLIMS. Well, perhaps if the MUSLIMS in this country would like for us to understand..how about a REPRESENTATIVE OF THE LARGEST RELIGIOUS POPULATION IN AMERICA?? Would that be too much to ask??
Also, can someone ask this question to Muslims if they EVER get a question to ask this: Would Christians BE TOLERATED in their countries the way we have to TOLERATE MUSLIMS in ours?? Perhaps, they won't answer that because anyone that is oppressive to women is also oppressive to many other freedoms we enjoy here!! GOD BLESS JAMIE!
