October 15, 2001 -- PORTLAND, Maine - Isanu Dyson, a fifth-generation American who converted to Islam three years ago, is prepared to join the jihad against the United States, and believes government workers are fair targets.
The 24-year-old Maine resident, who carries a dagger and 3-foot sword, told The Post it would be "noble" to enlist with the Taliban and fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan.

Please make sure it is really Isanu (or whatever) so some fool doesn't throw a brick through the wrong person's window.
Folks, the proper response that all should have to the statements made by this bozo is:

The legal requirements for treason have been visited several times in our nation's history. The founding fathers were particularly concerned that the treason laws not be abused as they had been in England, where the King used them to suppress opposing political views.
During the early 19th century, Aaron Burr was tried for treason, and subsequently the case of Ex Parte Bollman (1807) established that "levying war" required actually raising a body of men "assembled for the purpose of effecting by force a treasonale purpose."
The Cramer Case established the "two witness principle," stating that "Every act, movement, deed and word of the defendant charged to consititute treason must be supported by the testimony of two witnesses."
The Haupt Case in 1947 established that "giving aid and comfort to the enemy" as an action is indeed treasonable, when the Supreme Court sustained a conviction of treason for the first time in its history.
Essentially, in modern law, the act of treason is any direct raising of a force against the US Government to "levy war," or any overt and intentional act to give "Aid and Comfort" to an enemy of the United States.
I suppose the first thing that would need to be established is the Enemy status of any person or state, something that can be easily done if we have declared war. I don't know what the legal definition of "Enemy" is when we are not under a declaration of war.
Once you have established that someone, say a terrorist, is legally an Enemy, simply giving that person money or aiding them in any way would not be enough for Treason. It would have to be shown that the person knew they were aiding an Enemy, and that they intended their actions to harm the United States.
Similarly, simply stating that one desires to commit a treasonous act, or expressing views which are anti-American, does not constitute Treason. Action is required.
If anyone has more insight into treason as a legal principle, please respond!
One more hyphenated-seditious SOB that needs as you say to be taken down and imprisioned for his words of aiding and comforting the enemy...........Trash that as you suggest is solved in one manner and one manner only !
Stay Safe !
Maybe it isn't...As our government turns further away from God, I turn further away from our gov't...The truth is (to me) that this Islamer has the same view as many in our gov't...He wants to eliminate my ability to worship my God the way I see fit...Our gov't, as we all know has been limiting Christian's ability to even speak about God in public...So, while the US gov't turns furthur and further away from Christian principles, I will not...In my view, Christianity made this country great...And the lack thereof, will destroy it...
But in the meantime, these Islamers are a far more immediate threat to me and this country than our collective gov't...Let's waste 'em...Go, George B., go...
#1. I love him. He's my oldest son (of 4).
I just hope "it" ends soon so I can get back to business.
Keep the peace. Thank God for FreeRepublic, where I can shout "I AM PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN!"
If the "hard way" is to tell him that I hope we kill every f*cking one of them with the touch of some buttons...I did that.
That's why he knows not to broach the subject anymore.
We agree to disagree.
