October 15, 2001 -- PORTLAND, Maine - Isanu Dyson, a fifth-generation American who converted to Islam three years ago, is prepared to join the jihad against the United States, and believes government workers are fair targets.

The 24-year-old Maine resident, who carries a dagger and 3-foot sword, told The Post it would be "noble" to enlist with the Taliban and fight against American soldiers in Afghanistan.

I think you've got him pegged. An unemployed, divorced, Islam convert at 24 years of age has no idea of who, or what, he is. Your son's disgust with the U.S. Government is not uncommon, even for non-muslims...I too, share the view that the U.S. has no business meddling into the affairs of countries who are not our staunchest allies...However, I do not accept the thought that the Flag represents the U.S. gov't...I have a flag flying in my back yare which can be seen above the roof of the house...If I thought for a second that it represented the federal gov't, I'd take it down...

The Flag represents the free people of these great States...That flag and that freedom is what allows your son to practice his religion in this country...

My point is this: Cracking down on illegal aliens is already doable---but the laws on apprehending US citizens of Arab/Middle Eastern descent in peace time make it more difficult to close the noose around those in our midst who are sending these anthrax letters (I am assuming some are citizens or at least legal immigrants).

Methinks this individual will meet up with some lumberjacks one day soon and that dagger he carries will have traversed from jaw to pelvis and back or perhaps they will use a chainsaw or a .30-30 softpoint. Personally I think if one could put him in a tank with a lot of hungry lobsters he might be taking a while to get his virgins and I do not think he will be bringing anything that will satisfy him or them.
