Americans are uncertain what to think. Since the events following September 11, many citizens have remained glued to the major new networks, wondering what will happen next. It seems the greatest concern is a chemical or biological attack in a major city, such as New York or Washington.
In days past, most Americans would have ignored any warning of such an assault. Now, all Americans are concerned about the possibilities. Should there be a concern that such a terrorist attack is possible?
If one listens to all the talking heads on the news channels, the facts and possibilities are confusing. One person states, America is ready for a biological and chemical attack, while another despairingly comments, America is in no way ready for such an attack. Another specialist believes the substances for such a terrible assault are already in the hands of a few in the nation, while another says he in no way believes the sleepers in America have such abilities.
Others have stated they do not believe Osama bin Laden has any ability to produce such materials.
Recently on the 700 Club, Pat Robertson obtained a series of satellite pictures showing the inside of Afghanistan. Not far from the border of Pakistan, a close-up of terrorist camps revealed a mound with a smoke stack. Not far from the smoke stack was a building. The specialist reading the satellite map indicated the area of the smoke stack appeared to be similar to a place where chemical and biological substances were being made and the other building was where they were being tested on animals. The moment this statement was made, the television screen went blank and a sign came on stating that the video feed was interrupted. The 700 Club stayed off the air until the program was over, then oddly, the regular programming returned without interruption. I immediately thought that someone interrupted the satellite feed due to information that was being released. At this point, I have not heard of one secular media agency that had reported anything related to chemical or biological possibilities connected to the training camps in Afghanistan.
I received a call that a gag order was placed on all persons working in high positions inside the Federal Government Agencies. There are things that have happened and things that have been planned of, which high positioned federal workers are not to speak about to anyone, not even their closest family members.
I can certainly understand the silence. First of all, the government must separate fact from rumor. Often the media hypes up a possible situation and could create panic and fear in the hearts of viewers.
No doubt these are the perilous times warned of in scriptures. Our personal faith must be strong and we must seize the opportunity to minister to those near us, who are fearful of the future. I have often said, You cannot threaten a Christian with dying and going to heaven. As Paul said, To live is Christ but to die is gain.
These are exciting times!

A bit thin on docs.
Guess you eliminated them all. LOL
Not if you understood what I was saying.
And not if the animals had died of a disease, making them unfit for consumption, or the local population had already left for refugee camps in Pakistan, leaving their animals unable to fend for themselves.
But you go on believing that every time your TV service goes on the fritz it's proof of a sinister plot.
Must be something to this censorship thing.
O.K. Let's try this again!
1. I don't watch TBN. I posted the article, because Perry Stone observed the events described.
2. The reason why he is an interesting source, is that he is an expert on Muslim Religion and Traditions. He has written numerous books on the subject, as well as spoken publically likewise on the subject.
I won't ask for proof, because I know that there have been (and are now) people in each labeled organization, that did not (do not) follow their own rules.
The Christians.
Christ claimed to be God in the flesh.
No other religion listed has a founder who made that claim.
No other religion listed has a founder who was resurrected.
If one approaches the bible with an open mind and a sincere intention of seeking the truth, they can find the way to salvation. Anyone can do it. It's free and available to all. There is no 'elitism'. Christians believe the bible and accept the grace of salvation through Christ.
If some choose another God, another saviour, another 'religion' it is their choice and Christians believe, their eternal loss. We are also free to mock, sneer at and reject God, Christ and salvation. Many do and believe this makes them enlightened and 'free'. It's called Free Will.
We all die. We all will be judged, no matter what we choose to believe or not believe while we are living on earth.
When you remove your head from the sand dunes you have it buried so comfortably in, read Post 21 above!! You will like it, not one "religious nut" in the story!!
If the sources themselves are dubious, and the implications are half-baked, just HOW significant is this information, again?
You haven't been paying attention, have you. A few posts above yours, someone emphatically stated that they have it right, so it must be so! After all, God said so! I read it myself.
