Collidal Silver is a natural antibotic...you can purchase at your health food store. Take 2 ounces a day, no anthrax can survive.

Something else to note is that ***IF*** this is a terrorist attack, the actual infection probably took place about 2 weeks ago.

Well if Shep is right in saying that there haven't been any "inhaled" anthrax occurences for 25 years, this has to be just another incredible coincidence. I understand that's a distinct possibility, but I have to wonder if somebody is "testing the waters" as it were... Oh well. No need to panic anyone. I hope it's isolated.

What about that Crop Duster that went missing the other day off the Bahamas? Not trying to be alarmist, but is that a method that could be used? The claim is that a crop duster would not be appropriate for distributing anthrax spores, because the droplet size is orders of magnitude too large. Anthrax needs to be aerosolized.

Does Palm Beach County county have much cattle industry? No, just ignorant, dumb-a@$ voters, they're called sheeple.

I think anthrax has incubation of two days to a week or something like that
Also...am thinking an older man may show symptoms quicker because his immune system may not be as strong.

Not a lot of cattle in Lantana, trust me.Right. Lantana, Riveria Beach and West Palm are known for sheep.

I guess HHS Sec'y Tommy Thompson is trying to stir up the masses too?
I live in Florida. It's disturbing.

State public health offices and the CDC track meningitis cases.
Three cases were reported in MI today. The state public health office is very involved in testing the strain and watching for other outbreaks to determine how it spreads, etc.

OK, I'll buy that. The guy apparently has Inhalation Anthrax (according to Tommy Thomspon) doesn't that rule out, him getting it from food he ate or a deer he may have killed while hunting in NC?
I answered my own question.
Cutaneous: Most (about 95%) anthrax infections occur when the bacterium enters a cut or abrasion on the skin, such as when handling contaminated wool, hides, leather or hair products (especially goat hair) of infected animals
The intestinal disease form of anthrax may follow the consumption of contaminated meat and is characterized by an acute inflammation of the intestinal tract.
So, it couldn't have been from eating because that'd be intestinal, and he couldn't have gotten it from a skin lesion (which makes up 95% of the admittedly rare disease).
Help me out with facts. I'm starting to get real nervous.

"I'm just leary b/c at first they thought it was "menengitis" until the CDC confirmed Anthrax."If that's true then it is airborne infection, and that's not in the least bit natural unless the guy was himself playing with infected animals.

Sad part of the story is that almost all cases of inhalational anthrax, in which treatment was begun after patients have exhibited symptoms, have resulted in death, regardless of post-exposure treatment.

Right. Lantana, Riveria Beach and West Palm are known for sheep. I think you mean sheeple. ;-)
