I pulled this from the prior thread posted by our beloved Alamo-Girl, here: --> Prior Thread.

To: ALL - Update on my sister
Thank all of you so very, very much for your prayers and blessings! I cannot find the words to express my gratitude!!!
Donnas memorial service will be held this Saturday. Her heart stopped on Monday, October 1 at about 3:32 p.m. Her husband, daughter, son and I were right there for her final moments. PRAISE GOD!!!
Last Thursday at about 1:30 I was downstairs at the hospital with my nephews wife. I felt a warm rush go through me as if my sister was letting me know her spirit was free and she was happy, alive and well. We hurried back upstairs and discovered her body had slipped into a deep coma.
I had experienced that warm rush before. The evening before my mothers heart stopped, just when she entered a deep coma and previously when my former husbands heart stopped while we were diving.
Praise God!!! for the blessed assurance of witnessing Donnas graduation, both in spirit and in body! Every moment with Donna is a treasure to me and I Praise God!!! that this separation is only temporary!

Home Free (by Wayne Watson)
I'm trying hard not to think you unkind
But Heavenly Father
If you know my heart
Maybe you can read my mind
Good people underneath the sea of grief
Some get up and walk away
Some will find ultimate relief
Chorus
Home Free eventually
At the ultimate healing we will be Home Free
Home Free Oh I gotta feeling
At the ultimate healing
We will be Home Free
Out in the corridors we pray for life
A mother for her baby, A husband for his wife
Sometimes the good die young
It's sad but true
Though we pray for one more heartbeat
The real comfort is with you
They say pain has little mercy
And suffering's no respector of age or religion
I know every prayer gets answered
But the hardest one to pray is slow to come
Oh Lord, not mine, but Thy will be done
Let it be...

Thank you for the flag.
My thoughts and prayers have been with Alamo Girl and her family since I read the news last night. All the pain of losing someone is found here on Earth, Donna is whole, happy, and in the arms of our loving God. It is only those that she has left behind that are in pain and are suffering. For those friends and family, I pray that comfort, peace and understanding is flooded upon them from God's infinite love and graciousness.

...because of the same news I received about my wife while in the hospital that day. Our grief knows no bounds...
My thoughts and prayers are with you as well. There are many here that will willingly share your grief and pray on your behalf (A burden shared is a burden halved).
You are not alone and we are here if you need us.

Jesus, to a grieving sister.

Our grief knows no bounds...
My heart grieves with you -- but we who lose our most beloved, so that they may dwell in the Shelter of the Lord, have tremendous Faith that He will see us through our temporal woe and that we will see Him and those who were our partners, friends and lovers ... in His Place.
In almost seven years, I still reach for his hand and miss the warmth of his presence, but I celebrate our Faith and comfort myself in the sureness of his being with Him.
It is impossible for me to have complete understanding, because I am only human -- but I am warmed by the Holy Spirit in my Faith, as I am sure that your raw wounds of loneliness and loss will also be healed through Him.

Alamo-Girl, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of your sister; but then I'm so glad that we have the hope and the promise that you'll see and know each other again. I'm praying for you and your family.

Please accept my condolences.
Psalm 46:9-11 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth; he breaks the bow and shatters the spear, he burns the shields with fire. "Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth." The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah

My sincere condolences. May God keep you in His perfect peace, until we all rejoice in Beulah Land.

Words are so inadequate except that they let you know that we are thinking of you and your family with love.
Praising the Lord for the life that Donna led and that she has now gone home. And praising the Lord because we know that He will comfort you and all your family in your time of grief and draw you ever closer to Him.

God Bless You and your family.I'm so very sorry for your loss.
To: Alamo-Girl
Make your final send off for Donna a real Celebration ... it will be among your most joyful (and Faith filled) demonstrations of love.
You, who have given so much to all of us ... have never touched me more deeply ... than in your own demonstrations of your great, loving and abiding Faith ... through this painful ordeal.
For the great and blessed person of yourself; for your loss of Donna, who you grew up with and was therefore a part of you; for all of your family in your loss ... We will be with you on Saturday to Celebrate and to Believe in that Eternal and Better Haven ... Praise God!
Donna has entered Eternity -- she is free of pain and filled with His Presence!
Those who remin in earthly bondage, have a wonderful treasure trove of memory and shared love to keep us warm and dry all tears as we await His Arms and live with certainty that we will join those we love ... At His Pleasure, In His Service ... and in His Time.
To: GretchenEE
May God give his comfort to all of you. When a loved one cannot get well and their life here on earth becomes far too hard and painful, we realize that we want what is best for them. We would not want them to endure more pain when there is no way for healing. I am so very sorry.
