President Bush returned to business as usual today as he met with his national security team regarding the war on terrorism. He also visited the FEMA offices and thanked the workers for all of their hard work over the past few weeks. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Sueann - #78 - who is he looking at - do you know?? I have no idea, sorry! I need to write these things down when I save pictures.
okstatemom - Oh man, those pictures do something to ya, don't they?
Yep! I visit my substantial collection of pictures of President Bush occasionally, especially when he is on vacation and not many pictures are being released. It's always a treat. This man just exudes goodness and decency. He's also very easy on the eyes!

While I am going around with great stress all over my face, there she is looking like the epitome of peacefulness!I think there are massive doses of the "peace that passes understanding" in both the President and the First Lady. They seem to have a very close, personal relationship with the Lord.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

RE: looking for flags.
We saw lots of flags driving down from California's Central Valley to San Diego today. The freeways that skirt Los Angeles, at least every 5th or 6th car had a flag. People are going in for the ones that hook up to a rolled up window or on the antenna and flap the colors defiantly as they speed along, not just the ones pasted on windows or the sides of trucks or cars. My husband was having a ball spotting them all. Our flag was inside the car against the window.

Thanks.

The First Lady is ever the librarian...
In a TV interview, she was asked what she says to her husband, to help him get through. She replied:
"He'll get pretty worked up about things right now and I have to tell him, 'Bushie, back off'."
(They make a perfect team, perfectly complementary.)

Re your picture #1: Three more voters for Bush in '04! I can see that the woman in red is thinking: "He doesn't look like the BAAD MAAN I was hearing about last year during the campaign." The other two probably would like to know about this thread for their daily dose, now that they have met him.

rintense, thank you. These pix just brighten up my day, and my co-workers too.

Thanks rintense! My computer got kicked off our network in our house so I have been away for a day or so. ARRGH! But hubby is getting some new routers, and is upgrading me to Windows 98!! I'll be cooking with gas, then!
I love the way Dubya is going to all the Fed. offices to personally thank the Govt. workers. It must give them such a great feeling to know that their work is appreciated. Sometimes bosses forget to thank those who make things happen; I am glad to see that Dubya is not one like that.
That's a funky harcut Mr. Albaugh has' my daughter said it looked like something out of the cartoon "Dilbert"!

I saw that "horn" maneuver on tv, what's the deal? Are they friends from Texas?

I am still looking for flags.
Go online. I've been able to order lapel pins and have seen many flags for sale. Do a "American flag" search.
