This morning on Fox News, they ended a segment with a clip of Neil Young, in his old cowboy hat, singing IMAGINE. This was at last nite's show in Hollywood to presumably benefit the families of the victims of the act of war in New York.

I didn't watch any of the broadcast. This morning, Foxnews inflicted on me a clip of Red Bobbie Deniro standing in front of a few hundred candles (which have become the theme for the do-nothing crowd) and reciting FDR's "the 4 freedoms" nonsense.

I guess it was too much for Bobby to quote Patrick Henry or Samuel Adams. When the dimbulb elitists like DeNiro feel attacked, they fall back on the examples of communists of the past century rather than the examples of the people who founded the United States. It's very revealing of their attitudes.

I truly appreciate your advice. Unfortunately, I have been here about 4 1/2 years speaking up against communism and other idiot leftists, and I will have to think long and hard about taking advice from someone who has been here for 4 days. Okay, I've thought about it. NO.

I've written well over 1000 parody songs, the purpose of which is to mock the pathetic left and their supporters. To somehow equate my mocking with communism could be the silliest response ever made to me on this forum. It certainly is a puzzling response. I've had a lot of responses viciously attacking me with leftist bile, however, yours may indeed actually be the silliest.

Thanks, also, for defining this forum for me. I suspect that free republic means I am allowed to write stinging parody and post it as long as it does not go over the top in sexual inference and/or violent content. At communism.com, I don't think I would be very appreciated.

Anyway, thanks for your advice. It will be given the consideration it deserves.

Neil Young is absolutely great. A fabulous human being who puts his money and energy where his mouth is. He is relevant and intelligent and incredibly appealing. He has every right to sing and say what he wants. Isn't that what we're fighting for?

I wasn't familiar that you have written parody songs, so my apologies to you. You do have every right to do that. I just see so much hypricitical points in this thread. Like the song or not, (which I have noted I really do not care for it), I do not believe in banning it from certain radio stations and I do not believe in censorship. That is wrong, and I am surprised that more people aren't discussing the aspect of that instead of trying to tell us what the song stands for, when Lennon himself said what it means. But I guess direct quotes from the songwriter himself don't matter. Hmmmmmmmm.....
