***Pathetic TV Show, Mediocre "Stars", Our Heros Deserve Better***

And Liza with a z sounds drunk.....
What a night of disasters for TV
The first 30 minutes of the "heros" special was so bad, the acts so lame, no hits, no nothing......what a wasted opportunity.......
I couldn't take it any longer......
It seems that if the studio ain't in Nashville, the sound will be crap.......
The stars, on phones through the hour I could stand with no sound on, were never spoken to, and they were the only points of interest I could find.....all these stars and we're watching a bunch of absolutely mediocre performances by past icons who weren't even smart enought to play their hits......
I knew it was going to be a bust when Springstein DIDN'T play the only appropriate song he has, Born In the USA, and instead sang some nonesense about rise up, rise up, rise up, rise up, rise up and maybe another word or two.......
Hollywood, or whoever is going to take the fall for this absolute failure, should, IMHO get out of the business.

Willie will never clean up his act. LOL. Happy to see Goldie back with her man, Kurt Russel.

Those conceited b*****ds have a gross product that is more than some countries.
Why don't they be good little liberal's and give up 10% of what the own for relief effort.
This costs them nothing, and does more harm than good giving to that rip off agency the United Way.
To: The Wizard
You KNOW they have a teleprompter!
Whalberg mouthed "god shed His grace on Me..." Oy!
To: The Wizard
They waited until the last fifteen minutes of the show to break out the flags and sing patriotic songs.
Why didn't they do this at the beginning???

I'm almost 95% sure the Dixie Chicks did not campaign for Bush and in fact trashed him during his Presidential run at some kinda L.A. awards ceremony.
...very disappointing to this chicks fan.

They've got a flag now. Or at least a picture of a flag being projected on the set.

Well, I enjoyed Billy Joel singing "New York State of Mind". But I'm a sentimental New Yorker.
But the best part was Clint Eastwoodd. He loooked like he was gonna crap thunder, and shoot the cameraman.
My best to him.

Can you imagine what Drudge is going to say about this?

This was a horrible show that should be erased

"I think these are people, who underneath it all, love their country "All soft soap ... where's the Red, White and Blue? The stage looks like they're all going to confession or saying a novena for heaven's sake! Patethic self-serving sycophants. Only ones watching this lickspittle are other flatterers.
To: Bommer
Very good Bommer, very good.

I never planned to donate to this scum anyway. These will be the first to turn against our men in uniform. The charity coalition has no guidlines so no one is watching the money. It will be interesting to see if victims get one penny.

How about Paul Simon doing "Bridge Over Troubled Water"? That was the redeeming factor of an otherwise depressing show. Yeah, but it was always Art Garfunkel's song to sing, not Simon's.

ONE flag, at the end. Willie looked stoned, Sly looked(and probably was) lost. They volunteered a whole two hours and gave not one dime.
