Could you imagine "Fidel Gore" in his alpha-male, earthtone fatigues making that speech challenging the soldiers, whose votes he sought to shred, to give their lives for him.
I give thanks to God.

Don't know how I'll sleep tonight. I'm so inspired. And Proud. Bush has helped this nation already, with this statesman-like speech. We needed that.

Advice to Jerold Nadler...mix in a salad once in a while!!! Sheesh, the guy's hands could barely meet to get an applause going for Dubya! He is a disgrace, did anyone catch his act?

Thread VI ??? Heck, I just posted on IV and I'm still waiting for it to load !!!!
Anyway, Hillary looked BAD. She was moping, her clapping was anemic, the camera caught her rolling her eyes, and when Bush walked through the crowd ...Shumer was there to shake OUR PRESIDENTS hand, but....Hillary was GONE !!!
In the beginning, she was laughing and smiling, but she got it stuck to her "big time."
I'm so proud og PRESIDENT BUSH.
He's the kind of leader we want right now.

You're right - Hil's blood runs cold as ice. Furthermore, she looked exceedingly haggard.

I know it fell short of "A bag of dope in every pocket, a whore in every bedroom", but give it your best shot.
To: drstevej
Yeah, he'd really inspire our troops - NOT!
If either one of those jerks were president, their speech would have consisted of pleading with bin ladin not to hurt us!
To: msupvr
I missed him somehow. Glad, too - I'd had a late dinner and he could have upset my tummy.

I'm a frequent "lurker" and have never posted before, but I have to say that this speech, this President, it was all awesome. We are so blessed to have GWB at this crucial time in our history

I was trying to imagine the SecDef and the Sec of State and the National Security Advisor Algore would have picked, and him and LIEberman handling this crisis and I broke out in a cold sweat and then said a prayer of thanks. Just think of it!
A liberal friend of mine called during the speech. I DID NOT PICK UP. She left a message that the speechwriters did a good job. I'm still grinding my teeth. I think Bush wrote a good deal of that fine speech.

Wouldn't you love to hear Hillary's thoughts as the congress gave Rudi a rousing, standing ovation?
