In the Chicago suburb of Bridgeview, Ill., about 300 marchers _ some waving American flags and shouting "USA! USA!" -- tried to march on a mosque before they were turned back by police. Three demonstrators were arrested, police said. No injuries; demonstrators were kept blocks from the closed Muslim worship place.

So, you've met some idiots, and seen idiots on TV, and now you want to indict an entire religion. That's bigotry, but I suspect you don't care. And it's bigotry on the level of the Muslim fundamentalists who seek to destroy all Christianity and Judaism. Shall we also destroy Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Morocco, Tagikistan, Pakistan, Indonesia? Do you want to gun down a friend of mine who is a Republican activist fighting for limited government and lower taxes and just happens to have been born in Pakistan and remains a practicing Muslim?
Perhaps you need to get to work on building some internment camps.
All Muslims in the country that are non U.S. citizens should be deported. Students, workers, family members, IMHO
Amazing that people are insisting there be no protests from US citizens allowed, I guess we round up protestors and put them in prison. Free speech is out of the question but we don't want to hinder the Islamic people in any way. Too bad the airports were closed because now they're inconvenienced.

But, if you are advocating attacking all muslims, including law abiding US citizens, or just trying to intimidate them by "expressing your feelings" in front of their places of worship, then yes, those people are no better than the brownshirts.

I was referring to PERSONAL attacks on Jewish synagogues. I wasn't even thinking of the Nazis, Brown Shirts, or Hitler youth. My reference was about attacks that happen in our day and age.

If these terrorists hid behind Christianity, there is no doubt the same people here would come after us. I'm not going to sit around waiting for those people to decide that ALL religions need to be destroyed. That time will come but not without a fight.
I was there. I pulled off the expressway and ran right into the early mob. Jerks were running through moving traffic, pounding on them and yelling. It was a disgrageful display of riotous buffoonery. They were only pounding on the cars of old folks, and those that looked foriegn as they were the ones that looked scared and would not protest.
A few hours later there was almost as many police as wack-jobs. A large contingent of state police showed up to back the locals. The foreign born attendant where I bought gas was scared to death from the mob outside. By this time the police had closed the road and filled it with squad cars. This mob was out to vent on foreigners and that's all . The mosque was not the original objective, but came up later as a place to go trash.
The event was a shameful dishonor to the flag and Freedom itself.
