Friday Night at 7:00 p.m. step out your door, stop your car, or step out of your establishment and light a candle. We will show the world that Americans are strong and united together against terrorism.
Please pass this to everyone on your e-mail list. We need to reach everyone across the United States quickly.
The message: WE STAND UNITED - WE WILL NOT TOLERATE TERRORISM!

I already have two AMERICAN flags in my yard!
And my fellow teachers and I are encouraging our students to wear patriotic (red/white/blue, flag, etc.) shirts to school tomorrow.

I got the same e-mail message.
Not sure what this will do other than cause a run on candles. :) But I'll light one and put it in a hurricane lantern in the window.
"1 if by land, 2 if by sea ...", maybe we should put out 3 lights for an air attack.

We need more than flags and candles. Go to your city council and county commission meetings and demand that local law enforcement stop winking at illegals in the country. We are guilty of harboring terrorists in our communities, and we need to stop doing it. We have been tolerating a level of lawlessness that is appalling. Root it out in your own community and stop leaving it up to others.

I put up Old Glory the minute I heard about the attack and it will remain flying! My daughter wore one of her flag shirts to school this morning!
Here in the OKC area, they asked that we all turn on our headlights which is what they did following the OKC Bombing. I was coming back from taking my daughter to school, I heard the request, turned on my headlights, and all around me people were doing the same. One of our talk radio stations is broadcasting on several different music radio outlets and looks like a lot of us were listening.

Libs are always having candlelight vigils.
They probably will hold some, in protest, as soon as we take appropriate action in retaliation for yesterday's outrage.

Red, White and Blue on Thursday is going around my workplace as well.
I'd prefer to see red white and blue banners on some headlines telling me who was getting the pay back on this thing.
