Pilot was a female. Audio of her talking to ATC before crash.

I haven't seen confirmation that she was pilot-in-command at the time of the crash. The co-pilot usually makes the radio calls.

This is not an official release. I've seen it called a "leak" but I suspect it wasn't recorded from the tower. Anyone monitoring the frequency could record it and post it.

This is wild audio out of FL!

The Learjet that went down in Greenacres today with nine aboard is N722BD, serial number 60-271, registered to LR60271 LLC at a Delaware registered agent's address. It has changed tail numbers twice, had four owners, and the FAA logged a filing on it April 1 that the public record doesn't explain. Paper trail below.

👉Owner of record: LR60271 LLC, 1209 N Orange St, Wilmington, DE. That's a registered agent's address shared by thousands of companies.
👉Certificate issued 1/4/2023, good through 2030.

👉Owners: Learjet Inc (factory, 2004). Jet Advantage LLC, Dec 2004 to 2020. Jet 60 LLC, Mar 2020. JBB Air Operations LLC, Nov 2020. LR60271 LLC, Jan 2023.

Names of the deceased are known but have not yet been released. There is no word on ground casualties.

The Australian feed shows the LearJet in two frames right before contact with the ground. I believe it struck directly on top of a small white car pulling out of the parking lot.

Let’s not go for the female. As a USAF IP for years, women are no better or worse than males. However, a great enemy of us all is ice (if they were in icing conditions). Couple that with turbulence and one has a recipe for an unrecoverable condition.

Every air crew on that frequency would hear the conversation, as would anyone with a radio on the ground. Connecting it to the interwebs would be easy enough.
