More Republicans are speaking out against President Donald Trump’s decision to let Vladimir Putin’s Russia temporarily export diesel fuel on the global market, expanding the bipartisan blowback over the deal.

Six GOP senators joined six of their Democratic colleagues in a letter Tuesday urging Trump to cancel the arrangement allowing Russia to supply 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels, of diesel through mid-April.

“This deal is a gift to our adversary and a betrayal of our Allies; it should be rescinded,” the lawmakers wrote.

Republican Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Susan Collins of Maine, Oklahoma’s Alan Armstrong, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Kentucky’s Mitch McConnell and John Cornyn of Texas signed on, adding to the list of of GOP Congress members who had earlier questioned the deal Trump announced Friday.

All these Senators are bought off by the people who gave you the US Ukraine Charter on Strategic Partnership. All they care about is their precious Ukraine, which we tried to buy off and put in the Western alliance.

Pyromaniacs could’ve produced a better foreign policy towards both Ukraine & Russia, than the results of the last 20 or 30 years.

If we increased diesel imports from Canada just 4 percent, it would more than make up for whatever Russia promised. But we can’t for....reasons.

The absolutely bat shit crazy, insane back story on this that, aside from trying to forestall a global economic meltdown and food shortages due to high diesel prices, President Trump is trying to get the domestic price of fuel down so REPUBLICANS Do not get blown out in the November elections

Words fail , but so do Congressional Republicans

They suck but they need out support because the Democrats suck infinitely worse and they are an existential threat to America

Google AI:
Canada is maximizing and continuing its exports of oil and diesel to the United States, remaining the U.S.’s largest supplier of imported diesel fuel amid broader shifts in North American and global energy markets.

The Russians are having a good laugh at Trump’s expense for this “fake deal”.

Serhii Sternenko posted this with video on X:

@sternenko
That moment when Trump rescues those who laugh at him.

Russian state TV is mocking Trump and calling him stupid over his deal with putin. Propagandist Skabeyeva is baffled by the diesel deal after all, Russia itself is in the middle of a major fuel crisis.

Check it out

Suddenly DNCNBC gives a sh!t about what Republicans think. Mitch “Yurtle The Turtle” McConnell is the only useful idiot who has a justifiable excuse for being incapable of understanding that he is a useful idiot.

We need a third party in this country, only one major problem exists though: We need a second party initially and we don’t have one.

Oklahoma, Texas, and Alaska make sense. Their senators need to protect Big Oil. WTI at almost $95 is good for the oil states.

Gemini: Canada is technically and logistically capable of increasing its diesel exports to the U.S. by 4% under current conditions — and in practice, trade volume fluctuations of that scale happen frequently based on seasonal shifts, refining runs, and market demand.

Meta: Yes — a 4% increase is well within the normal range of variation for this trade.

ChatGPT: Canada could increase its diesel exports to the United States by 4% or more under current conditions.

Grok: Under current conditions Canada could increase its diesel (distillate) exports to the United States by 4% or more, primarily by raising refining utilization modestly, optimizing yields toward diesel, and redirecting existing surplus.
Google AI: Yes, Canada can increase diesel exports by 4% under current conditions. Canada already exports roughly 154,000 barrels of diesel per day to the United States. A 4% boost requires adding only about 6,000 to 6,200 barrels per day—a small fraction of total bilateral flow.

That’s great! Now we have a list of Republicans that are on record to build refineries in their states. We do not have a supply problem with oil. We have a processing-refining capacity and distribution problem.

A good friend is a Hugh and series investor in North Dakota oil sands-fields. He screams if oil goes below $85 a barrel. At that pricing level he breaks even.
