A new US State Department report identifies the Antifa legal nonprofit, the National Lawyers Guild, as a central support organization for Antifa militants and traces the radical lawyers’ group’s activities to a decades-long network of left-wing terrorist influence tied to the Cuban regime. The 100-page report, “Cuba: The Capital of 21st Century Communism,” released on Monday, details how Havana spent nearly seven decades cultivating left-wing American radicals, extremist organizations and sympathetic institutions to advance revolutionary leftism inside the United States.
It alleges that network stretches from the Weather Underground and Black Panthers to modern Antifa, anti-ICE organizations and socialist groups. Of particular significance in the report is how the NLG operates as “one of the most persistently relevant — and insidious — organizations in Cuba’s U.S. network.”
The State Department accuses the far-left 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation of helping defend and facilitate political terrorism, including the Weather Underground of the 1970s to the violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa militants today. Established in 1937, the NLG has long functioned as a communist front group aiding in anti-American foreign-linked interests.
NLG founder and former president Victor Rabinowitz headed the Fair Play for Cuba Committee before his law firm — co-founded with fellow NLG attorney Leonard Boudin — became the Cuban government’s official legal counsel in the United States in 1960, a relationship the report says has continued ever since. Leonard Boudin is the father of Katy Boudin, one of the convicted murderers in the Weather Underground terrorist group. His grandson, Chesa Boudin, was the radical leftist district attorney of San Francisco from 2020–22.

NLG members, known for wearing green hats, regularly coordinate with self-described Antifa groups before street riots to discuss tactics on how to evade arrest and prosecution. This journalist has observed the role of the NLG in aiding Antifa in Portland and the Pacific Northwest, where its members misleadingly present themselves to the public as independent “legal observers.” The Guild deploys its members, mostly made up of law students, at Antifa riots to give arrested militants rapid access to free attorneys, bail money, and assistance from allied radical nonprofits. The NLG says it coordinated legal support for more than 20,000 people arrested during the 2020 deadly George Floyd BLM-Antifa riots."

Founder of Armed Queers group investigated in Charlie Kirk shooting is radical trans leftist who advocated violence

The founder of Armed Queers SLC, a pro-gun LGBTQ group being investigated by the FBI for possible ties to accused Charlie Kirk sniper Tyler Robinson, has been identified as a radical transgender political organizer with ties to communist politics.
Armed Queers SLC quietly scrubbed its online presence after Kirk was assassinated, but a law enforcement source told The Post that all open-source information on the group was downloaded and handed over to the FBI.
The cache of information includes posts from Ermiya Fanaeian, the child of Iranian immigrants, according to the source familiar with the federal investigation, whose Instagram bio calls for “Revolution + Trans liberation in our lifetime!”. . .
The feds are still deciding whether to bring charges against Robinson and working to determine whether anyone else was involved in Kirk’s killing.
However, Fanaeian and Armed Queers SLC are on investigators’ radar as the FBI has widened its probe to include a potential “extended network” that could have aided Robinson in the Sept. 10 sniper attack at Utah Valley University. . .
Fanaeian’s inspiration to form the group came from “historical communist and socialist revolutionaries of the mid 1900s” including Fidel Castro and the Black Panther Party, according to the university’s student newspaper, the Daily Utah Chronicle.
“The Party for Socialism and Liberation is not a liberal movement — we are a leftist movement,” Fanaeian told the outlet. “We are an anti-capitalist movement. We are a working class revolutionary movement.”
PSL’s main backer is Neville Singham, a US millionaire tech mogul with extensive ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who bankrolls other radical organizations including National Students for Justice in Palestine, International People’s Assembly, Code Pink and ANSWER Coalition.
The award that Fanaeian received from Utah Global Diplomacy “recognizes young Utahns working to achieve the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) while exemplifying Utah Global Diplomacy’s core values of respect, social responsibility, and open dialogue,” an archive of the organization’s website reads.. . .

Washington, D.C. – On Tuesday, June 9, organizers and activists gathered at the Cleveland Park Library to hear a report back from Ermiya Fanaeian on her recent trip to Cuba. Fanaeian, a member of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization DC (FRSO DC) – which hosted the event – visited the country as part of the May Day Brigade this past May. The visit coincided with the passing of legislation for increasing economic sanctions imposed by the Trump administration.
The conversation began with Merawi Gerima, member of FRSO DC and emcee for the event, asking about how the blockade is discussed and viewed in Cuba and what attention was given to it during the trip. “All attention in Cuba is on the blockade at all times,” said Fanaeian, “From the moment you arrive, there are murals in the airport detailing the blockade and slogans about fighting to end it. The Cuban people are affected every day by the lack of access to food, water, fuel and other goods that come from overseas.” She elaborated further, “It’s not just a blockade, it’s warfare. Economic warfare.”
The conversation next turned to discussion about Cuban healthcare and medical advancements made by Cuban researchers. Despite the devastating material consequences of the blockade, Cuba has more doctors per capita than any other country. The country maintains a comprehensive socialized healthcare system, which includes ample access to in-home doctor’s visits and rural clinics. Recently, a breakthrough in Alzheimer’s care was made available free of charge to anyone seeking care in Cuba. “It is amazing to see what the people of Cuba are able to accomplish despite the ongoing economic warfare,” opined Fanaeian.
Gerima next asked if the Cuban people hold any animosity towards the American people. “The Cuban people love Americans, and they want us to visit. They do not hate us; they hate our government.” Fanaeian told Germia. She went on to say that Cubans want the people of the U.S. in the streets protesting the blockade, and to fight for normal international relations with the Cuban government.
The Anti-War Committee DMV, an organization devoted to anti-imperialist action in the heart of the U.S. empire, had a contingent in attendance. “It was so important to be here today and hear about the work Cuba is doing to fight the blockade,” said Katie Sayour of the Anti-War Committee DMV, “With his recent indictment of Raul Castro, Trump is telegraphing the possibility of heightened aggression against Cuba. Now is the time for us to fight against this escalation!”
