MONTGOMERY, Ala. —President Trump in his first term proved a windfall for the Southern Poverty Law Center, the antiracism nonprofit famed for its courtroom wins against the Ku Klux Klan decades ago.
In 2017, the same year Trump took office and a white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va., turned violent, annual contributions and grants to SPLC surged from $50 million to more than $130 million and have remained above $100 million nearly every year since.

A pretty good, well written article by the WSJ that discusses the present and past history of SPLC. My problem with the DOJ litigation against the SPLC is that it doesn't include any of its officers and/or employees who authorized this allegedly criminal activity. Until the DOJ goes after those real people, instead of just a corporate entity, there isn't going to be any real reform.

Yep. Skin in the game would cause them to face the consequences of their actions. They must be made accountable.

From the Wall Street Journal article:
...a white-nationalist rally in Charlottesville... It was never a white nationalist rally. It was a staged event and the filthy Wall Street Journal continues the lie.

There’s a sound legal reason to pursue criminal charges against the SPLC without charging the employees or (especially) the officers.
Since the SPLC is a corporate entity separate and distinct from its employees and fiduciary officers, these other people can all be compelled to testify in the case as prosecution witnesses.

Normally I get PO’d when people link reposts by MSN, but since it’s paywalled at WSJ... Thanks.

Now he is trying to crush them Oh come on, Donald Jesus Trump wouldn't do that.
To: libstripper
Cute how the headline turns the SPLC into a victim.
To: gibsonguy
And then is followed by a oerfectly reasonable article.
