Ugh. What a trip to New Orleans was. My buddy’s car broke down on the interstate and we coasted down the off ramp to the worst part of NO. Luckily a lady cop was parked in her patrol car right where we ended up and she helped us white boys out. We were about 20 years old and had no credit cards so we couldn’t rent a car to go back to Florida.
Ended up taking a bus that was a 24 hour ordeal as the bus stopped at every rural local store and bus stop along the way. The bus even meandered into Florida, then into Georgia (where we picked up a guy laying in the grass) then back into FL.

So if the stupid enviro threw a crayfish “into the sea,” she killed it as they can’t live in salt water. It was a lobster not a crayfish. Stupid writer conflates the two.

Throwing stolen crustacians into the water is no basis for a system of government!

“Good time huh?”
LOL. Some of it was good. But I’ll never go there again unless I have to and I don’t anticipate that happening.

It’s hard for me to get interested in an article when the authors don’t seem to know the difference between lobsters and crayfish.

😂 . Lived in the area a lot between 1968 and 1987. After Katrina it never really came back to the old days.

In Texas it’s a crawdad....freshwater lobsterish crustacean. Salt water not so much... Crawdads weren't exactly known in Los Angeles, my home town.
(My age is showing with this one:)
In a BEVERLY HILLBILLES episode, Granny was facing arrest with some hippies for hunting crawdads.
She explained to the police officers how she enjoyed smoking crawdads.
"But first I need a little pot," she added.
To her shock, the officers picked her up and threw her into the paddy wagon.

My trip there was probably in or around 1978.

Quite similar to a pigdo as well.

Depends on size. If they are 2-4 inches they would be crayfish.
They have lobster antennae. They also have been de-clawed or they would look more like lobsters.
