What is “US linked”? Is it US flagged or not? I cannot imagine too many tankers are under a US flag these days.
Who is left to call the shots there? A whole bunch of lone wolves?
Prayers for the safety of our troops on that tanker.
Did these ships think Iran was bluffing about shooting missiles at any ship that tries to use this water route?
I thought I read that the US was promising to ‘provide protection’ to ships entering that area.
I must have misread that passage.

Russia is providing the Iranians with targeting information on our assets, including ships, and assisting them with drone counter-defense training.
This is how a world war gets rolling. Then oil prices will be the least of our problems.
