As construction nears completion on the long-delayed $850 million Obama Presidential Center, federal tax filings show the Obama Foundation paid CEO Valerie Jarrett $740,000 in 2024 while several former Obama White House officials collected six-figure salaries as foundation executives.
The Obama Foundation — which will operate the 19.3-acre center on publicly owned Chicago parkland — paid its CEO more than any other major presidential foundation. Salaries and benefits soared from $18.5 million in 2018 to $43.7 million in 2024, as staffing expanded to 337 employees and annual revenue reached nearly $210 million.
Jarrett, one of the Obamas’ closest advisors, took over as CEO in 2021 and is among six of the foundation’s 10 highest-paid executives who previously held senior roles in the Obama administration or campaign, according to a review of the foundation's tax filings from 2018 to 2024.
"Illinois Democrats are truly living their best lives — making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to help design the ugliest building in Chicago," Illinois GOP Chairman Kathy Salvi told Fox News. "Their jaw-dropping salaries prove that Illinois’ culture of corruption is alive and well as Barack Obama’s top allies rake in the cash."

That’s practically 3X what other Presidential Foundation CEOs earn.
Typical rat op. I would have liked to have seen the look on Jarett’s face when we sent the Mullah’s to their virgins.
It’s how Demon-Rats scam and grift the entire system, at every step, at every level, every single time they have the chance.
If you think about it, the greed and theft isn’t really remarkable.
If you think they are internalizing that it’s normal, or OK to do it?
Don’t bet on it.
They know it’s wrong. They know it’s theft and they just dont give a phoook what anybopdy thinks about it.
How many presidential foundations are there? 20? 100?
Frankly speaking, $740K salary for a high-level political insider like Jarrett is not a lot. She could be (and probably is) working for a DC law firm or lobbying outfit and making many times that. Yes, its supposed to be a “non-profit” and is probably a massive ongoing grift for everyone involved.
But that’s the nature of our printed-money, and debt fed government and all its insiders.
MY question - Where did all the money for this hideous Obama Center come from??
Send her and Susan Rice back to Iran.
Guilty looking bunch. Not surprising they tried to assassinate their opponent.
How much Iranian money went to that mosoleum? Jarrett was an Iranian stooge. Obama gave Oran billions in untraceable cash. There need to be a full accounting of that Kenyan bastard.

“How many presidential foundations are there?”

Google AI:
There is no single official number of “presidential foundations” because the term can refer to several different types of organizations, from those managing modern presidential libraries to those preserving the legacy of earlier presidents.
1. Foundations Supporting the NARA Library System (15-16)
In the modern era (starting with Herbert Hoover), a private non-profit foundation is typically established to raise funds for the construction of a presidential library. Once built, the library is deeded to the federal government and managed by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
Current Count: NARA currently oversees 15 presidential collections and 13 physical libraries.
Total Scope: Official records indicate the system covers 16 presidents, from Herbert Hoover through Joe Biden.
Active Foundations: Each of these 16 presidents has a corresponding private foundation or institute that continues to support the library’s museum programs and public outreach.
2. Foundations for Earlier Presidents
Many presidents before Hoover have foundations and libraries that are not part of the federal NARA system. These are operated independently by states, historical societies, or private foundations.
Examples:
Abraham Lincoln: Supported by the Lincoln Presidential Foundation.
Rutherford B. Hayes: Supported by the Hayes Presidential Center, Inc..
George Washington: Supported by the Fred W. Smith National Library at Mount Vernon.
Total Partnerships: Some broader coalitions, like More Perfect, partner with over 40 presidential libraries and institutions.

Wonder where the jug-eared little fruitcake and his “foundation” got the money.
I think a fair salary cap for nonprofits would be the salary of the US president for “jumbos”, the average guv for simply “large”, small-town mayor for “medium”, and dog catcher for “small” nonprofits.
Below is the count of visitors to the museum at the Presidential Libraries from the past 5 fiscal years. The federal government’s fiscal year runs from October 1-September 30.

come to think of it. That place does look like a money laundering machine.
Whatever George Bailey told the townsfolk we they did a run on his Savings & Loan?
Getting involved in local government in the school administration is also pretty well paying.
The wife of one of the other guys I work with got a job as the business administrator of my local school district.
She is a Democrat. She had gotten elected to the local school board. Then was offered this job by the Superintendent. She is an attractive 60 year old mom of three. She had not worked since college. Her stating pay was $106K. Not a bad gig for someone with zero work experience in the last almost 40 years.
Of course the superintendent makes over $250K.
Every year they want an increase in the school budget. Mostly due to the increase in teachers pay.
Every year they want to build something new that costs millions of dollars.
Next they want to replace the football field. it will be well over a million dollars for a new synthetic turf field.
The fire department also wants to buy two new trucks. Each truck is over one million. God forbid they would consider buying a used truck which can be bought for almost nothing.
