EXCLUSIVE: The FBI's Secret Stash Finally Uncovered
Racket News ^ | March 6, 2026 | MATT TAIBBI

Posted on 03/06/2026 7:33:03 AM PST by lasereye

A Federal Bureau of Investigation task force has begun excavating the separate set of books FBI keeps using an inaccessible “prohibited access” file designation, according to multiple government sources. Though an internal fight over how to handle the files continues, embattled FBI Director Kash Patel has assigned personnel to examine decades of hidden history, Racket News has learned, with some files already turned over to Congress.

“This is it — the deep state,” one of the sources said.

The article states that the files don't show up in the FBI's Sentinel system, which is supposed to make every case available to FBI agents, and it was not easy finding all of them. Supposedly they now have all of them. They came to light because of Sen. Grassley working with FBI whistleblowers.

The article is only for paid subscribers to Matt Taibbi's Substack.

The files may get exposed but there will never be any accountability for anyone who knowingly used them.

We just don’t do the accountability thing in this country, no matter what the politicians promise.

Congress funds the FBI. FBI runs deep state extortion racket on congress.

It doesn't take a genius to solve that problem.

People need to be arrested for things like this. They are circumventing the legal requirements for document retention and disclosure. This is deliberate, active deception. It really is the “deep state.” And it goes on in a lot of departments. Trump has made some efforts to address this but, with due respect, they aren’t enough. His administration needs to get a lot more serious about rooting this out. Holding hearings. Firing people. And putting systems in place so it doesn’t happen again (or at least so it doesn’t happen for a long time). This is how the bureaucracy takes over from elected officials.

Better remove all the paper-shredders from the building.

"Misunderstandings" happen.

At least that’s what they want you to think...

Trump needs another four years 😁

The level of corruption is very deep.

Epstein is a smoke screen……bad stuff for sure, but nothing compared to the real meat.

“Turned them over to Congress”. Why? Congress won’t do anything except give lip service to it. Turn it all over to an American militia group and let them handle it.

You mean the ones consisting of three FBI agents, two BATFE agents, a DEA agent, six undercover reporters, one anti-social kid cosplaying and one guy who thought it was a AA meeting?

Yeah. That will solve the problem.

You’ll never see those files. They’ll just be part of an investigation that last 50-75 years. The deepstate runs the US. When you hear of accountability, it’s just the tip of the iceberg and that gets the 50-75 years rule.

FBI has corruption in their DNA from the very start. It can’t be fixed other than shutting it down.

It is common to have a place to put files where an investigation was done and no crime was committed, no action was taken. The prime example:

In Nov 1963 hundreds of right wing militia and left wing “revolutionaries” went to Dallas TX because the rumor/inside report was that the other side was planning a Coup D’Etat.
These people from the Northern MI and the mountains of CO and the campuses heavy with YPSL and YSA were heavily armed.

Some of them in each side were FBI, CIA, or other agency informants...similar to Jan 6 types.

But those hundreds of “extremists” never got off a shot. They never engaged in the conflict. Only 2 people (or 3 if there was a guy on the grassy knoll) got off a shot.

On a lesser scale, I had personal knowledge of planned events in Chicago inner city where the plans were never executed. The assumption was that there were plenty of agents and informants embedded in the groups sending reports to an agency.

The reality is that there are many incidents where “THE DOG DID NOT BARK.”

They are filed somewhere.

Now the conspiracy is that hidden in these files are also situations where crimes were committed. Where crimes were committed by agents and informants.

Example: Two rival groups were for independence for Puerto Rico. One group was loyal to Moscow and one group was very “independent”. The ATF came to me, asking me to setup the leader of one group as they knew I was a trusted acquaintance of that leader, even though my politics were quite different. The ATF told me blatant lies in attempting to convince me to “set up” this acquaintance.

The goal was for the 2 groups to fight each other, fire bomb each other’s buildings; and not to fight the establishment.
These ATF agents worked directly for Cong Dan Rostenkowski, chair of the House committee that controlled the ATF budget. And the Puerto Rican activists were mostly in Rosty’s district and a nuisance to his desire to consolidate the left around the practical left rather than the ideologues.

Although that was ATF and not FBI, it is an example of the kind of report that ends in the “No action taken” file.
