In this hour, Brown examines the growing influence of Christian nationalism, an ideology rooted in the belief that the United States was founded as a Christian nation and that its laws and institutions should reflect Christian values. Through immersive reporting and on-the-ground access, the episode explores how a movement once largely confined to the margins of white evangelical culture has gained new visibility and political power.
“My reporting for this hour began early last year when I visited Moscow’s Idaho to interview Pastor Douglas Wilson. The response to that report was overwhelming and highlighted the need to better understand this movement working to redefine America as a Christian nation in the home, in a marriage, in schools and in government,” said Brown. “We embedded with a community under Pastor Wilson’s umbrella and spoke to women who have left the church and are now sounding the alarm. No matter where you live or what you believe, what we learned is especially consequential at this moment.”
In “The Rise of Christian Nationalism,” Brown travels to faith-centered communities where Christian nationalist ideas shape daily life, education, and governance. She sits down with prominent religious leaders who have helped build networks of churches and schools designed to instill a strict, literal interpretation of the Bible. She also speaks with women who are former church members, sharing accounts of religious trauma, rigid gender roles, and in some cases, abuse within Christian nationalist communities.

The deepest craving of the Democrat/communist is the violent annihilation of Christianity. Always has been. Always will be.
Get back to us you political hag after you investigate the insane dogged adherence to the Islam ideology that is actively trying to subvert and take over our country.
What a distortion. Like I’m going to listen to what CNN says about religion. They know nothing about it. I certainly don’t want Muslim communists dictating to me, but CNN is silent there.
That’s what I don’t understand. It’s our founding foundation, but proponents seem to want to run from it.
Returning to our roots, roots that were universally recognized a generation ago; how outlandish!
The really pertinent question is “When will Christian Nationalism rid us of CNN?”
Where would anyone get that idea? However, this is hardly a movement as wide and active as Antifa, but the MSM sees the former as adverse to its ethos, and overall is adverse to negatively characterize the latter, being fellow rebels.
How about an actual news item like the rise of violent atheism? The rise of anti-American murderous trans?
Or the promotion and rise of violent leftism?
Hmmmm...who will I place my bet on...hmmm....
Pamela Brown and CNN might need to go to Europe to report on the rise of Christian nationalism sweeping the continent now. The worldwide left wants to destroy Christianity, the one glue that connects the civilized western world!
And the problem is?
Three transgender shootings in a row but we’re talking about Christians.
😂I think stateside latin american gangs run by cartels are much worse.
Nationalism is greater than Christianity.
Genesis 11 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
What follows in Genesis 11 is a testament that it was NOT God’s will to have One Worldism.
Later in Genesis 17 God reveals his plan that his people should be organized in many nations.
Genesis 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
Nationalism versus One Worldism, Globalism, New World Order or whatever you want to call it is another manifestation of the spritual warfare that has always been and will always be ‘til Christ come again.

When I see photos of outdoor WWII church services on the decks of USN ships, I think of the “Greatest Generation”.
It’s a shame the term WAS NOT “Christian Nationalists”...
“Brown examines the growing influence of Christian nationalism, an ideology rooted in the belief that the United States was founded as a Christian nation and that its laws and institutions should reflect Christian values“
It was. What is the problem? She says “Christian nationalism” like it is a bad thing.
