I agree with your analysis and they may have fired when they heard “gun!” But the shooting may have been in error impossible to tell.
The tragedy is that scumbag communist democrats have otherwise normal people out there radicalized attacking law enforcement.
They are completely off their rockers and believe it’s moral to attack officers.
Resistance while carrying a deadly weapon that could discharge either deliberately or accidentally is justification for the use of deadly force. If a reasonable person fears for their life, deadly force is justified.
He was trying to stop the officers from clearing the street. Blocking a street is obstruction, and if it is to stop a law enforcement operation (which this was) it is a felony. What crappy media are you listening to if you don’t even know that?

There are legitimate ways of protest that do not involve confronting Federal officers enforcing the laws regarding illegal immigration. As far back as the Whiskey Rebellion, the Federal Government had to use military force to ensure the collection of taxes on alcohol when the farmers of Pennsylvania tarred and feathered revenue agents. A nation that fails to control who may enter or stay in their land is no longer a nation. The United States is a nation, not just a geographic entity south of Canada and north of Mexico.
The enforcement of immigration laws is Constitutional and just. The people opposing them must be arrested and if they assault the officers with vehicles or firearms, they must be stopped with lethal force if needed. If these opponents use less than deadly force, they should be stopped with appropriate force and arrested.
There are legitimate ways to protest, for example, when several hundred restaurants, bars, and coffee shops in Minnesota closed in protest of ICE actions. They can picket outside the range of Federal officers. They can petition their Senators and Representatives. They can post their opposition on social media and call talk shows.
When protest goes beyond the freedom of speech and of assembly and degenerates into interfering with Federal officers, this cannot be permitted. Otherwise, you have an attempt to prevent the legitimate enforcement of just laws. This is an invitation to anarchy.

We always knew you were for the other side.
That woman was in the street which is obstruction, and because the goal was to obstruct a law enforcement operation it was a felony.
It wasn’t because she was annoying or because she was protesting. The lady on the sidewalk filming was fine. It was because she was in the street and they were clearing the street. We don’t know how long she had been in the street or what history had happened before this, but we do know she was in the street where she didn’t belong. And so was Pretti; we can see that on the video by the pink-coat woman.
The best thing you can do if you want this to stop is to urge your pals to stay out of the street when law enforcement operations are going on. If they do that, none of this will happen. If you want them to keep dying, keep saying what you’re saying now.
