MINNEAPOLIS (AP) β The state of Minnesota and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are suing the federal government to stop an enforcement surge by Immigration and Customs Enforcement following the fatal shooting of a Minneapolis woman by an ICE officer.
The state and cities filed a lawsuit in federal court on Monday, along with a request for a temporary restraining order to halt the enforcement action or limit the operation.
The Department of Homeland Security says itβs surging more than 2,000 immigration officers into Minnesota, and that it has made more than 2,000 arrests in the city since the push began last month. ICE has called the Minnesota surge its largest enforcement operation ever.

I suspect some Obama judge may so order, but it would be quickly overturned.
This is not a National Guard issue. It's like saying the FBI cannot investigate kidnapping in one of the states.
A perfect case for the perfect dismissal. For “failure to state a case upon which relief may be granted.”
(Minnesota and the Twin Cities sue the Federal Government
to stop the immigration crackdown)
Dang! I thought that this was The Babylon Bee!! πππ
(and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul)
Where’s that Red vs. Blue map of Minnesota again?
The US needs to sue Minn. for fraud.
Using leftist/Establishment reasoning, Minnesota and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul have no standing in this case. Their suit should be thrown out.
This is pure fund raiser letter show biz to help the rodents get out of the money hole they are in.
Why are they so hellbent on protecting illegals? Why?
I wonder how this plays into invoking the Insurrection Act. All the legal prerequisites are done - the warning and the 5-month period for Minnesota to stop their insurrection against the federal government - so at any time when MN continues its insurrection Trump is authorized to send in the full military and take over the functions of state government that are currently engaged in insurrection.
That’s my understanding. Input from Constitutional scholars is welcomed.
No standing. Federal government controls immigration laws. Period.
Cut all fed funding to these states. ALL of it, including shutting their US Post Offices. Shut military installations if possible. Cripple their economies.
State officials said the lawsuit, filed on Monday, is asking the federal court to "end the unprecedented surge of DHS agents into the state and declare it unconstitutional and unlawful."
In other words, a lawsuit to prevent the federal investigation of some astoundingly high $$ crimes, with the apparent, possible connection to many powerful, including governmental figures.
Judging from appearances only (and inviting comments and corrections)... is there no better way to appear guilty as heck and desperately afraid of what evidence of crimes that our ICE agents might produce?
I'll ask that again, in bold red....
Is there no better way to appear guilty as heck and desperately afraid of what evidence of crimes that our ICE agents might produce?
Ellison is in on the fraud. He has completely ignored charges of fraud, and has even threatened whistleblowers.
The state of Minnesota and the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul are hoping one of their radical judges will issue a restraining order so they can have more time to destroy the evidence.
Ammunition Prices UP OR DOWN
The ammunition market is currently experiencing a decline in prices. Recent reports indicate that gun sales have dropped below 1 million for the first time in years, and ammo prices are at historic lows. This shift is attributed to a combination of factors, including a cooling firearm market, political stability, and reduced demand for firearms. Retailers are slashing prices to move inventory, and consumers are benefiting from these price drops. However, the future of ammo prices remains uncertain, with ongoing economic, political, and social factors influencing the market.
you can’t sue the government to stop them enforcing the law!
LMAO
many are their voters
“””Why are they so hellbent on protecting illegals? Why?”””
Bill Clinton would answer that question by saying: “It’s the economy stupid.”
The Federal Government sent billions of dollars to MN and that money went into illegal alien hands and into MN citizen hands.
Most importantly it went in to democrats hands
“The US needs to sue Minn. for fraud.”
************
Yes, sue for restitution to taxpayers.
A perfect case for dismissal .... no standing.
