The churches are becoming totally corrupt.
Specifically, the Lutheran and Catholic churches.
They’re not the only ones though.
They are no longer churches.
They’re money laundering social clubs run by priests and ministers who’ve lost sight of the biblical church and the Bible.

Lutheran Social Services doesn’t “bring” anyone to the USA for pay. They provide settlement service for immigrants in every state, such as housing, school, medical assistance, etc. These people are refugees who’ve fled from torture and other violence in their home nation.
LSS, like every “settlement house” group, receives grants from various sources, some of them government. The grants permit LSS to fill the roles government inefficiently filled in prior times.
