Afghan suspect in DC shooting may have been radicalized in US

US Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said Sunday that Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the Afghan suspect in the shooting of two National Guard members in Washington, may have been radicalized after entering the United States, AFP reported.

Lakanwal, 29, faces a first-degree murder charge in the November 26 attack that killed 20-year-old guardsman Sarah Beckstrom and critically wounded another.

“I will say we believe he was radicalized since he’s been here in this country,” Noem told NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday.

In another interview on ABC’s This Week, she added, “We do believe it was through connections in his home community and state, and we’re going to continue to talk to those who interacted with him, who were his family members, who talk to them.”

As another Freeper pointed out, he was radicalized the first time he opened a koran.

The mosque he attends and the name of his imam need to be public knowledge. And they need to be under surveillance.

Isn't all of islam "radicalized"? I'm pretty sure they are at war with our nation our people & our way of life. This proves it:

"Afghan suspect in DC shooting may have been radicalized in US"

Well, FWIW, he WAS living in the People's Republic of Washington State.

“Radicalized.”

In the case of muslims this means they went to a mosque where they were taught what is in the Koran, Hadith and Sunna which is pretty much what is done at every mosque in the world.

It’s what keeps producing generations of ISIS-style combatants and has for 1400 very successful years so far if by “success” you mean conquering a nation by fire, sword or demographic exclusion (out-breeding the prevalent race/culture).

Make a note of how many times you have heard this buzzword “radicalized” in reference to someone who just coincidentally happens to be a muslim and killed a single person or a group of people with a bomb, a car, truck, or any other weapon while
shouting “Allah is greater” (Allah HU akbar) and not something like “justice for second amendment activists!”

“Radicalized” in the context of islam simply means they’re now foot soldiers.

Pedo Joe and the Ho and bathhouse Barry imported a few million of them into the US.

You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.

Low IQ people are easily influenced by madcow and " the view".

Throw in a religion that glorifies killing those outside your religion, and you have a nuclear recipe for unbridled hate on the human race.

hating is far easier than loving, it gives a quick " high" in the brain. In the end it leads to death.

once someone is addicted to hate, its very difficult to get them to give up that high without another to take its place - ie: the peace that surpasses all understanding.. hate, It will always be their final " go to" emotion.

Of course it’s true. Using the term radical is a psychological crutch for people with weak minds who refuse to recognize that all Islam is inherently a radical uncivilized ideology in its own right - the Biblical’s earthly manifestation of the Devil’s destructive war on God’s creation.. Therefore, the linking of the term radical as a way to further define Islam is superfluous since both mean the same thing.

Worth listening to in its entirety.

Recent estimates for the Tampa Bay area (which includes St. Petersburg and Clearwater) suggest the size of the Muslim population could range from 36,000 to as high as 100,000 across the region.

This suggests considerable growth since the 2020 census numbers were released.

There is going to be a war zone soon in every American city. The Biden Afghan Resettlement Program has brought intifada and jihad to America’s shores.

The Israeli commando isn’t wrong.

Nope.

From birth by that evil faux religion he was raised under.

I despise the way the media tries to downplay the evil of islam and blame the US for the evil instead.

The only thing I want to know about this murderer is how much rope they’ll need to hang him.

______________________________________________________________

I share these feelinngs and will gladly supply all the rope needed; that being said I would like to make sure there is enough rope to hang any conspiritors that persuaded him to do the deed.

It isn’t my concern to care about what a persons religion is but when they start talking about getting rid of non-believers then it is time to get rid of them, if that requires a rop then so be it.

He was radicalized by Sen. Kelly. This charge must be made and it must stick.

Yes, he was wonderful when he was vetted by the incredible DHS. It’s only later, under Trump, that something went wrong. Yeah, the original vetting was perfect, that’s the ticket.

Blaming the Biden or Trump administration is folly. What needs to be asked is who are the ones doing the vetting and what is their political affiliations? Remember that Fauci and Birx mislead Trump to hurt his public image with dishonest and erratic recommendations. What is keeping the entrenched liberal government employees that are doing the vetting from doing the same?
