American troops have stormed a Mexican beach setting off a diplomatic firestorm amid soaring tensions after Donald Trump threatened to bomb the country.
US 'contractors' arrived by boat on Monday to 'Playa Bagdad', driving signs into the sand near where the Rio Grande empties into the Gulf of Mexico.
Alarmed witnesses quickly alerted officials and heavily-armed Mexican security personnel rushed to the scene on trucks mounted with machine guns in a terrifying standoff.

The “troops” appeared to be civilians in shorts and t-shirts. The “standoff” consisted of Mexican Marines watching from a distance while our “troops” installed 6 signs on the beach. Once our “troops” departed, the Mexican Marines removed the signs. It must have been “terrifying”.

Not unheard of as the US Navy can’t read maps or even a compass.

I’ve never been to Mexico, and never plan to visit. I try to avoid cess pools whenever possible.

The only things that come up are historical invasions from long ago. This article posted, is not even on the first seaech result page provided for; U.S. iIvades Mexico srach. The most current result on Reddit, talks about Trump reading the tropps, and that was from 2 weeks ago.
If & when Trump goes in, it will not be with boots to start it off. It will be a shock & awe type of operation, I suspect, to sernd s very strong message to the cartels.
Furthermore, I think President Claudia Sheinbaum will have given consent, even if it were not announced publicly by her or Trump.
Because now the people are rising up & creating a threat. It is no longer isolated to just the cartels providing the threats. But because the cartel are powerful, and most likely more brutal, the consent would remain on the QT, for now.

Undoubtedly led by a 2nd Lieutenant: the Army’s most dangerous weapon is a 2nd Lieutenant with a map. I know, I was a butterbar for two years. I became very skilled at map reading in Germany. The numerous small towns in the area had features that were easy to follow, such as churches.
Not sure why anyone would waste a vacation there. Seeing many of our cities in deep mexico conditions is more than enough.
Strangely 2 US Navy Captains in clear seas and weather in broad daylight driving two destroyers ran into each other...so its not just 2nd Lieutenant’s
