In one of their first major opportunities to shape the political landscape since the last presidential election, young voters played a major role in three key 2025 elections in New York, New Jersey, and Virginia.
In New York City, young voters (ages 18-29) provided Democratic candidate Zohran Mamdani overwhelming support toward his historic victory. According to exit polls, 78% of youth voted for Mamdani, compared to 18% for former New York governor Andrew Cuomo and 4% for Republican Curtis Sliwa. Mamdani won the three-way race with 50% of the overall vote; young people were his strongest supporters out of all age groups

A Democrat win thanks to PUBLIC SCHOOL EDUCATION.
Young skulls full of mush... etc..
PA was up. The judges drove turnout. We need to redecule these people. I don’t it on facebook. Claim to love America, but support open borders, claim to love America , but have Ukranian flags on thete homes. Claim to love America , but are all for globalis. Our side plays too nice. This is life and death for America, we have lost too many states already
We have to go at there throat.
We aren’t a democracy.
A majority of votes means nothing.
Mamdani just asked for money and disevowed all his promises for free stuff as the new mayor.
This is exactly why the Democrats want to lower the voting age to 16, because the younger someone is, generally, the more stupid they are, and definitely the more ignorant of history and economics they are. If you want, my opinion, I believe that since the brain does not Completely finish developing until age 25 in the average person, that we should move the voting age up to age 25.
For that matter, the old litmus test of someone owning property in order to vote, so that they had a stake in the society in which they were voting, is also not a bad idea.
how many of his voters are rich trust-fund transplants vs. middle-class youth born in NYC?
“how many of his voters are rich trust-fund transplants vs. middle-class youth born in NYC?”
Interestingly, it was not mainly rich lay-a-abouts voting for Mamdani, although that is who makes up his core financial supporters.
He sold a bill of goods: rent control, magically lowering the price of housing, etc, to people struggling to get by.
Ironically, given the massive flight of the 1% that he will rape with taxes, he might be able to deliver.
As businesses flee, not only the rich flee, but those they employee flee.
So apartments and houses will become oversupplied, lowering the prices.
this is no surprise and they’re going to be the most hurt when he fails miserably.
Then you will have to propose that we'll amend rhe Constitution.
Watch as they turn on him. Should be fun.
Yutes are sensing an (economic/other) iceberg coming their way...going back to that tried and failed "hopey changey" myth.
They can have New York and they can pay for all their socialist dreams, anyone that voted for that Ass should not be allowed to leave the city.
So... petulant child products of public education... in other words.
I still remember when Nikita Khrushchev of the USSR said “WE WILL BURY YOU!” and it looks like the new generations are digging our graves.
The mentally ill have finally got thier man.
