~3 minutes
Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk predicted his own assassination in chilling text messages to friend and former colleague Candace Owens — years before he was assassinated in Utah.
Owens posted screengrabs of a text exchange from April 6, 2018 on her podcast in which the person she identifies as Kirk predicted he would be killed because of his work with Turning Point USA.
“If I tell you the true prophecy I know in my gut it’s really sad,” Kirk wrote, adding, “But I hope its wrong.”
Candace Owens shared the sadly prophetic texts on an episode of her podcast on Monday, Oct. 27.
YouTube/Candace Owens“Anyway I am not sure if I will live to see the end of this revolution.”
“Since the beginning of TPUSA I knew in my gut that I might get wiped out at any time,” he wrote, adding, “I cannot explain it.”
“But I dream about it all the time. Like all the time.”
Kirk insisted he was not being dramatic or fearful with his prediction.
“Not really afraid of it but I’m just telling you what I know to be true,” he told Owens, who was the communications director for Turning Point USA from 2017-2019.
The texts revealed that Kirk felt in his “gut” that his activist work with Turning Point USA could lead to his killing.

What the over-and-under on how long before someone here claims that Candace manufactured a fake text exchange here? Maybe 30 minutes?

If you haven’t taken bets yet I want to bet its fake.

No bets taken, unfortunately, but I guess that the “under” would have just won. :)

What the over-and-under on how long before someone here claims that Candace manufactured a fake text exchange here? Maybe 30 minutes? These texts are from 7 years ago. Kind of creepy she would keep them.
But given the other things she's said, there is good reason to hold them suspect given she is the source. That's the problem when you regularly spew nonsense - it tends to taint your credibility. Even when you say something true, it is less likely to be believed. Your flippant comment given her history that it would be bizarre or unheard of somehow unheard of to question her credibility does not make any sense.

Friend, you misunderstand. I didn’t think that it would be bizarre that someone would question the authenticity. In fact, I fully expected it. I just make a tongue-in-cheek suggestion that we make an over-and-under betting line on when it would happen.

It’s widely known that Abraham Lincoln had premonitions, sort of, and I will link to that — plus Martin Luther King Jr’s last words the day before he was shot.
The texts between Charlie & Candace are not fake but the movement shifted and now Erika Kirk and the other members of TPUSA will heed the call to carry Charlie’s torch. Candace I pray will let go of the past, heal from grief, and find a new purpose and chart a better way forward for herself and her platform than she’s been doing as of late.
“Like anybody, I would like to live a long life. Longevity has its place. But I’m not concerned about that now. I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the Promised Land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land!
And so I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man! Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord!!”
- Martin Luther King Jr. (April 3, 1968)
King died on April 4th.

Every effective conservative has to be concerned that some crazed leftist will try assassination.

It wouldn’t be surprising Charlie was worried about being killed given the things he said. I mean he was very vocal against the Ukraine war and asked publicly if there was a stand down order given to the IDF on Oct 7. He was also vocal about being against attacking Iran. So there were lots of people who were not happy about that and had reason to silence him.

I’m not surprised he’d have thoughts like that. It just means he understood the Left. If I put a Trump sticker on my car, I would worry about it getting keyed. That’s the same sort of thought on a smaller scale.

In my decades I've discovered that the first one to go down the rabbit hole is always thought of as a nutter. Those of us who refused to vote for McCain (not me) and then Romney (absolutely me) were berated by our FRiends. But our actions paved the way for Trump. Those of us who did our homework almost a decade ago regarding resolving cancer with fenbendazole and artemisinin (and now ivermectin) have been chastised by the professional community soundly, but we are still alive along with many who listened to us. Those of us rejected the covid vaccination because the facts did not remotely add up, have been through all sorts of hell from being beaten, deplatformed, outright fired, and removed from military service on top of the verbal abuses. But as it would turn out, we were the smart ones.
I say all this to let you know that Candace went down the rabbit hole long before Charlie. And she paid a price for that leading all the way up to FRiends today mistrusting her and viewing her as a nutter. The ones who go down the rabbit hole first are rarely ever understood. But Charlie was gaining that understanding. He was beginning to appreciate Candace's insight. He even signaled that he too was at the edge of the rabbit hole peering in.
And that is when he was murdered. If anything, I'm more inclined than ever to believe Candace was on to the truth of the matter.

Did Candace Owens make that claim about Trump?
If so, where, and when did she state it?

Every effective conservative has to be concerned that some crazed leftist will try assassination. Yes. The looney left makes no secret of their desire to eliminate prominent conservatives. They come right out and say these things on their little Tik Tok selfie videos.
And a lot of the time, they get away with it.
