The state of Virginia has been in the news for the last several years for issues that are not very complimentary. Fairfax County, which is the largest school district in the state and the ninth largest in the country, is consumed by wokeness. Hardly a week goes by that another scandal, often times involving some LGBTQ issue doesn’t arise.
Now, Virginia finds itself on the brink of choosing a new Governor, and the two candidates are on opposite ends of the relatability scale. That fact could not have been more clearly highlighted than at their debate last week.

Last week’s debate was between the Republican candidate, Winsome Earle Sears, and the Democrat’s offering of Abigail Spanberger, and I hope every eligible voter in the state watched it.

Throughout the entire debate, the uppity Spanberger refused to make eye contact with Earle-Sears—a new low, even for Democrats. Even Biden, who was brain-dead to logic, stared off into space in Trump’s direction during the debate.
Earle-Sears repeatedly addressed Spanberger directly during both women’s answers, but did not receive any direct responses in return.
More importantly, Spanberger refused to answer relevant questions, instead choosing to either ramble on, deliberately avoiding taking a stance on what should be obvious issues, or standing silently with a contemptuous smirk on her face.
One hot topic was the recent release of texts sent by current Virginia Attorney General candidate Jay Jones in 2022. ...
The texts proposed a scenario where he had two bullets and three people to shoot: Todd Gilbert, Adolf Hitler, and Pol Pot. He wrote that Gilbert would receive “two bullets to the head.”

Spanberger refused to answer the moderator’s question about whether she would continue to support Jones’ campaign, despite being asked five times.

I’ve donated to Winsome Earl-Sears, and subjected myself to months of spam from the GOP as a result. I hope she wins.
Spanberger looks a little like Edgar Winter before he grew a beard.
I live on the entire opposite side of the country from Virginia and I have been very happy to donate to her campaign. The contrast between these two candidates can’t be more telling.
Went to school with a guy as pale as she...straight blond hair. His nickname was Spook.
I fear the Katie Hobbs and Chomo Biden strategy of just hiding in the closet puts spanberger in office.
