This” Peace” deal will never last. Hamas is a treacherous, evil band of Islamic terrorists vowing long ago to destroy Israel. They have somehow been given a ceasefire only to regroup to escape anihillation.
They will plot and scheme until they can attack again.

I’m sure we will see it on ABC,NBC,CBS,MSNBC,CNN, etc. And there will be no bias in the reporting. And the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus will livestream from the event.
It should’ve been a requirement that all hostages be released BEFORE any Palestinians be released. Otherwise it will never happen.

Me too, but I have a bad feeling about this. Those people cannot be trusted in any way, shape or form..
News reports say that all the living hostages have been released. I think Hamas has gone through with this phase because (a) they got a good deal in terms of their prisoners to be returned by Israel, and (b) influential backers in the Arab world told them it was either this or no more funding or safe havens.
Hamas believe they can now survive to fight another day.
Keep in mind they are not rational actors, the idea of the Oct 7 raid in the first place was 100% guaranteed to lead to the situation now faced by Gaza. Anyone could have told them that, even their Arab friends. And no doubt they were told but they are not acting rationally and will never in the future act rationally except in limited circumstances like this. I am sure they will mount some new atrocity if they are capable of doing so, the question is, can they even survive in the new environment? That depends on what is decided in the Egypt conference which starts tomorrow.

The bigger miracle is that we have a BBC story that praises Trump and doesn’t try to get a dig in somewhere in the article.
