Nearly two dozen people are feared dead after a massive explosion erupted at a Tennessee bomb factory this morning.
The blast went off at the Accurate Energetic Systems plant Friday around 7.50am local time, the Hickman County Sheriff's Office confirmed.
At least 19 employees currently remain unaccounted for, according to Odell Poyner, the emergency management director in nearby Humphreys County.
The initial blast was so enormous that locals reported hearing and feeling it from miles away.
The extent of the damage remains unclear at this time, but authorities say their main concern right now is the potential for secondary explosions.
Emergency crews are on site and have urged the public to stay away as they work the scene. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has also been dispatched to the plant to investigate the explosion.
There was an explosion at the Accurate Energetic Systems plant in April 2014. That blast left one person dead and three others injured.
The blast was heard from miles away, causing shelves and windows to rattle, residents claimed.
Beyonica Holt, whose residence is located roughly 15 miles from the factory, said she 'thought we were at war' and that 'I was going to die.'
'I was standing in my bedroom. It shook the whole house. I thought it was going to blow out my windows - it didn't, but that's how big it was,' she told The Tennessean.
Hickman County Mayor Jim Bates said his office has received multiple calls from residents claiming that they felt the ground shake.
'It's an unfortunate incident. It was felt around our county,' the mayor said. 'We just pray that the good Lord keeps their hand on the families that's involved.'

“ It’s an unfortunate incident.”
Especially for those 19 missing workers.
“...unfortunate incident...” Uh, 19 people missing, presumed dead, is a catastrophe, or at least a disaster. Prayers for them and their families.
Yikes! Not good.
I never minded working with explosives (in military and mineral extraction mining operations)....
But I’d hate to be working with them amidst a bunch of typical DEI type employees these days.
From google AI:
Accurate Energetic Systems (AES) makes various high explosive compositions and specialty products, including pelletized explosives, shaped charges, and bulk explosives, for industrial and defense markets like aerospace, military, and oil exploration. They also fabricate energetic devices and perform load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services.

Prayer’s up for the families.
Horrible disaster.
Blew up real good

“Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC (AES), proudly holds certification as a SBA Women-Owned small business”
From their website: “Established in 1980, Accurate Energetic Systems, LLC (AES), proudly holds certification as a SBA Women-Owned small business”
Highly likely DEI.
Guess they weren’t so Accurate...
Prayers up. What devastation.
Not neccessarily- a lot of family owned businesses use that loophole terminology when the business is really run by the guys in the family.
AES website says it is a certified women owned business. Well there it is. Gutfeld would say.
But it looks like it's run by a guy -- Wendell Stinson (Chief Executive Officer)
This is/was most likely a company set up to sell the government.
I recall during the Great Recession there were two lumber trading companies set up specifically to sell the government.
The lumber was gong to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Theses companies were woman owned. One by an Asian woman. Another by a Native American. They both got 90%+ of the lumber shipments to those places. All went through Germany or Kuwait prior to either war zone.
Their husbands had both been in the lumber business for a long time and figured out the way to get selected for these bids. Having a Minority Woman owned company was worth more to the government than just the price. The government also weighed whether you had sold them prior. So, once you were in it was a lock. Then they just competed against each other for all the business. I would not be surprised if they colluded too.
Many of those “women” or “minority” owned business claims are basically frauds, done for virtue signaling.
I know you are correct, for two firsthand experiences. Some of the biz sites say the employees numbered around sixty. Less now, sadly.
Thanks for the further information!
So, can we now assume that munitions factories have been added to the hit list?
Something a exist might say.
