The Parents Of Charlie Kirk’s Assassin Faced Darkness But Chose Justice

What this family confronted deserves to be noticed, praised, and modeled. Our country was given clarity in real time.

harlie Kirk’s murderer came from somewhere. We all do.

Since the “In the beginning …” times, our species has wrestled with the fundamental logic – and perceived unfairness – of holding parents responsible for the sins of their children. Or the other way around. In the Old Testament book of Ezekiel, the prophet makes this explicit:

The person who sins will die. A son will not suffer the punishment for the father’s guilt, nor will a father suffer the punishment for the son’s guilt; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

Yet we mortals struggle with this idea. It’s a matter of self-preservation. The unifying idea is that we must bear some responsibility for the behavior of our own kids. Our kids are reflections of us because we put our stamp on them. Functional societies have a justifiable fear of the ripple effects of other people’s bad parenting.

Healthy families are civilization’s frontline schoolhouse of needed humans – producers of good men and women, and citizens. Bad parents can easily replicate themselves, and often do. It is a rare and beautiful testament to the enduring nature of the good to see exceptions to the rule.

They had his pictures. They had identified his car… 🚗

Justice was coming swiftly regardless of what the parents did !!!

Every parent should raise a capable person to be an adult. Consequently, that means everyone is capable of turning bad with choices.

In sum, every parent should raise someone with the ability to do good, or evil. It is the basic human state.

As an adult, the child chose evil. It doesn’t sound like they specifically raised him for evil.

The child’s choices were his own.

This article is a bit overwrought. They were hardly heroic

What other choice did the parents really have?

Somehow try to help him flee? Coverup the fact they had knowledge he was the shooter? Have the whole family face possible terrorism charges and be put on the FBI most-wanted list?

Also, what kind of family life did they have to turn the boy into a violent tranny/queer?

Apparently, you have no understanding of free will. What type of parent was God to have a sinful son like Adam?

yes, finally. i’ve been waiting for someone to come up with one of the most important aspects of this disaster for America. i’ve been thinking a lot about this dad.

look at this dad and family, torn to ribbons, their hearts ripped to shreds, the guilt, the shame, but yet somehow having the strength, the faith to do the right thing and turn their son in.

for me, this is the essence of the faith of Job. this is why the Book of Job is in the Bible.

‘The Lord giveth; the Lord taketh away; blessed be the Name of the Lord.’

“They (the police) had identified... But the parents didn’t know that.

They talked him out of committing suicide. We have a better chance of finding out how he went astray and if anyone helped him.

💯% correct. Putting the blame on parents is sometimes correct, but when the child is an adult, heaves his own choices.. I had a child whose butt n÷ended the rod ofcorrection, daily. Sometimes multiple times daily. But he had a good heart tho he went his own #estructive way for a lomg time. He came around eventually. But, He never killed anybody. He needs prayer for healing. He damaged himself horribly. He is broken, but is now walking the right path.

My heart as a parent is broken over what he did to hself. I can’t imagine what the parents of Charlie’s killer might be feeling since we don’t know them or how they raised their child. Sometimes, no matter what you say or do, the kid grows up and makes his own decisions. Sometimes it’s not until they become parents themselves that they understand what their parents tried to teach.

And some parents simply suck.

Fortunately, all of my many grandchildren have attended either private schools, or rural public schools. In either case, they have mercifully avoided schools that hire pervert teachers. If there are any homosexual teachers, I am not aware of it, and they must be “in-the-closet” enough that the children are not influenced.

My neighbors were not so fortunate - their two grandsons attended a large public school closer to the city. Many of the teachers were flagrant perverts and the school was loud and proud about it. The older one wound up homosexual and the younger one “transitioned”.

If the parents were guilty of anything, I would say they were guilty of being weak and naive - they were guilty of not being homophobic or transphobic enough -
they should have moved their children to a safer school, or home-schooled them - but that is a lot to expect.

My point is that the sickness comes from the schools and the internet, not from the parents. The parents are victims too.

I would not want to be raising a child in 2025, and I’m so grateful that I was spared that nightmare! I will cut these parents a break - our schools have been infected by evil sickos and parents can’t fight it alone - we all have to pitch in and fight it together.

It’s part of President Trump’s promise to Make America Safe Again.

A blind man could have seen that train coming.

They recognized their son. They realized that anyone that knew their son would likely recognize him. And indeed, his fellow chatters recognized him.

The parents certainly sped up the apprehension. The parents helped there be a peaceful surrender instead of a violent arrest.

Many parents do exactly those things.

I heard on the news this kid has a court appointed lawyer, not one hired by his parents. These parents recognized their kid must stand on his own 2 feet and now he’s on his own. Actions have consequences.

Thank you. I think your post is 100% on target. I highly doubt the parents of Kirk's assassin were outwardly evil. In fact, I find few people are. Pyschopaths remain a very small minority of the population.

YET - we swim in toxic culture which assaults us 24/7. Many parents simply want to "go along to get along" and do not want be labelled "mean" or "divisive." We are confronted with toxic food, toxic entertainment, toxic education, toxic politics - and many people accept it is normal, or that ultimately, government would never allow something that is bad for us.

many people will be lost to popular culture. For Christians especially, we all need to absolutely know what we believe, and why - and have the courage to implement it.

He did a good thing, giving Adam Eve, but she upset the Apple cart.

The parents have two younger children to still raise. The defense would bankrupt them and not be successful. He can only hope that he gets life and a future Democrat president will commute his sentence.
