A distinguished Harvard Law professor and legal scholar was hammered on social media after spreading a debunked rumor that the suspect in Charlie Kirk’s assassination was "ultra-MAGA" and that Republicans were trying to "blame" liberals for the tragedy.
Laurence Tribe made the comment in a post on X that shared a lengthy post from an account called Occupy Democrats, which attempted to paint a picture of suspect Tyler Robinson’s political ideology.
"Kirk’s apparent assassin seems to have been ultra-MAGA, exploding the GOP/MAGA attempt to pin the blame for this tragedy on liberals," wrote Tribe, a professor at Harvard Law School from 1968 until his retirement in 2020. He is currently the Carl M. Loeb University Professor Emeritus at the school.
Robinson, 22, was in a "romantic relationship" with a transgender partner, senior-level FBI officials confirmed to Fox News Digital. The officials said Robinson lived with the unnamed person, who is a male transitioning to a female, and that they shared an apartment in Saint George, Utah.

This lie (a MAGA did it) was spread far and wide by communists yesterday. But that's what they do - and all they do: LIE.
Distinguished? Tribe is a rabid partisan.
Larry Tribe, lying, senile piece of cr@p [POC].
Hey Tribe. Hows that self lobbying campaign to get on the Supreme Court going for you?
There must be some nasty stuff in the water at Harvard.
Thus demonstrating Tribe's standards for evidence.
The only people who believe these clowns anymore are other clowns.
They think they can just will us to be stupid.
Shrug. Well-known leftist shill and Democratic Party apparatchik. Did anyone really expect anything better of him?
Legal scholar like Obama ,LOL
Libs are trying to blame Nick Fuentes
It’s all over social media and now the MSM
Of course all it does is give him huge free publicity and his follower count on X and Rumble are exploding as a result
How did this sick “professor” come to that theory? Is he that thick as the fraud liar: Jackson Hinkle?
And Harvard’s standards for faculty.
Tribe should be DESTROYED by Conservatives with a voice and platform EVERYWHERE. Make him the pariah he should be. Shame him back under the rock and darkness whence he came.
“A distinguished Harvard Law professor and legal scholar”
I think this is how Tribe describes himself. Kind of like an unfunny comedian telling everybody how funny they are . . .
As a kid, I was not anything like the best scholar nor athlete nor…anything. Nevertheless, I looked up to people like doctors and lawyers and officers who did well in high school and went to prestigious schools and equally prestigious careers.
The last 20-25 years taught me a lot of things about life.
It’s good to have heroes and heroines to admire and to emulate their example. (I “keep swinging.”) But not everyone in a lofty place is worthy of it. Not everyone at the pinacle of authority or a field uphold the ideals they are supposed to represent.
We live in a complex world and we need good and worthy people in every position, no matter how seemingly small, to uphold the civilization we enjoy. And I see a lot of people who serve in seemingly small roles who are exemplars of every ideal I continue to aspire to and uphold. Today, I see far more effort at the bottom and little effort at the top.
So why am I not surprised to read about Harvard professors that can’t get basic facts right before making pronouncements? About Supreme Court Justices that don’t know what a woman is (despite at least being equipped as one)? About officers who actively undermine their Commander-in-Chief? Medical authorities who redefine what vaccines are.
I’m a lot older and maybe only a little wiser. But I can now readily see and admit that I gave a lot of people waaay too much credit.
Only two things are named Laurence, sailors and homosexuals.
Your name is private Tribal.

“Harvard Law Professor” should be greeter at Walmart. If they’d take him
Just when Harvard was about to get its funding back.
Article says ‘distinguished’. Not seeing it. Full of 💩 seems more like it.
