On Thursday, a banner was hung in Cullman along the I-65 bridge and County Road 616, reading, "Charlie Kirk Never Forget" next to an American flag. On Friday, a second sign was hung with an ominous message that read, “One down, more deserving.”
Two of the letter Os on the banner were replaced with images of a scope.
The person who hung the sign has not been publicly identified; however, they did so while in a work vehicle belonging to Birmingham-based Mygrant Glass Company. The person responsible for putting up the sign has since been fired, according to the company.
In a call with 1819 News, an employee referred to a statement released on their website that says, "We have been made aware of a recent incident involving a former employee who posted a sign expressing support for violence. This action was a direct violation of our policies, taken independently, and did not represent Mygrant Glass. Mygrant Glass does not condone violence in any form and condemns this conduct. The individual is no longer with the company. We extend our sincere sympathy to those impacted by the harmful message."
According to a source with knowledge of the events, a group of individuals on the scene read what the sign said and immediately went to remove it. The sign was weighted with rocks.
It was down within five minutes of being put up, while another individual contacted Mygrant Glass company with the images of their company vehicle.
Although the glass company's phone number has been widely shared online, witnesses hope that people will realize the company and its employees took quick action to address the situation.
"I don't want that company to get any type of backlash," witnesses told 1819 News. "They were great."
According to their website, Mygrant Glass Company is a family-owned auto glass wholesaler focused on providing superior service and the most extensive inventory to our customers.
BTTT
Cheering for political assassinations never goes well for the cheerleaders.
If today was back in 1819, something other than banners would hang from that bridge.
We want a NAME!
That was the original postings flags put there and then the anti-Kirk one - with a call to violence - was added next to it.
When will the right get fed up with these threats? Or should I say when will good people get fed up with this and take action?

I’m glad that he was let go.

The employee who did it is “no longer with the company”.
And considering those weights were hanging over an interstate, and if they had come down could have killed or injured someone, where the heck are the criminal charges?!
The left is unhinged.
