Interesting Points About the Charlie Kirk Assassination
Twitter ^ | September 10, 2025 | John Ziegler

2 facts about Charlie Kirk’s killer are VERY rare in the modern history of assassinations…

1) Firing ONLY one shot & it being perfect

2) Eluding capture until at least nightfall that day

I would be willing to bet that this was not this killer’s 1st rodeo, & he may be a “pro.”

I don’t know how many times I have to say it wasn’t a perfect shot. The shooter was either aiming for the head or the chest of a stationary target and in both instances the shooter missed what he was aiming at at 200 yards. It’s an amateur shooter

It’s odd that the final two questions asked to Charlie were on the subject of gun violence and mass shooters.

I don’t think it was a pro. A somewhat competent shooter who probably had never practiced shooting down hill, which will make the shot go high.

It wasn’t “perfect,”

Yup. Not to sound callous, but there are literally tens of millions of people in the US that could’ve delivered that shot. Ex military, hunters, and others who know basic rifle technique.

A typical deer rifle sight-in job wouldn’t even require holdover or windage at that range. And the assassin’s shot was noticeably off center, not that it helped Mr. Kirk :(

Do they have the bullet? I bet they do.

A couple of months ago somebody claimed on their deathbed that yet another bullet was in the limo with Kennedy. And the broken windshield of the limo was replaced somewhere.

The bad guys are getting better. Two or three distractions this time.

Why wasn’t security checking the rooftops out

Because it wasn't the Secret Service preparing for a Presidential event (and as seen in Butler, even that doesn't work out so well).

Short press conference after the event indicated the entire University police force was there, a whopping 6 officers, working a crowd of 3000.

They were probably more worried about fights breaking out so would be all on the ground and not covering the rooftops.

It wasn’t “perfect,” unless you’re some jackass on the internet running your fool face.

I would not call it “perfect”. But it was successfull.

It appears someone did a better job of thinking it out, planning, and putting it into operation than those who attempted to assassinate President Trump.

There are probably a few million people in the United States who have the skills to do this.

The number who have the motivation to do such an assassination is a very small percentage of that number. Most people want to keep the polity of the United States intact.

This did not require a “pro” but it did require some skills and planning.

Every Conservative speaker cannot afford a Presidential level of security.

I just finished posting this on another thread when I saw yours.

I'm a little put off by the speculation on TV that this was a professional "hit." I'm not saying that it's not possible, but I am saying that the implications, if one thinks about it more closely, go to places that are unthinkable.

  1. "Professional" Hit = contract for hire. Who would want to take out Charlie Kirk badly enough that they knew they couldn't do it themselves and needed an expert?

What could Kirk have possibly done to garner that much hatred that someone would seek out a pro to do this?

  2. Earlier tonight, Greg Gutfeld asked, "Was this someone sending a message?" At first, the panel was confused by the question, eventually settling on the suggestion that the message was to "shut up" or this could happen to you. I'm not so sure that's it.

  3. Maybe I've seen too many mafia gangster movies, but often they would "whack" a family member to send a message to the Don. I don't for a minute believe this is related to organized crime or that Kirk was the "horse's head" in someone's bed.

    However...

  4. What happened to the talk about Iranian assassination squads that were out to get President Trump? Is it possible that someone knew that Trump was fond of Charlie Kirk and was sending a message to President Trump by taking out Charlie Kirk as a proxy for Trump?

That would check the "professional" box, if this is the case. Doing it in Mormon Country might have been "icing on the cake," because it was a place where a certain complacency towards crime might have settled in.

If it wasn't a professional assassination, then it was murder of passion. Some outraged student climbed on a roof and took a shot at Kirk in a misguided sense of moral superiority.

On another note...

I'm sure that the FBI is looking at all the cell phones in the area that pinged the towers during the event, and if any of those phones are now pinging hundreds or thousands of miles away by now? If this were a professional, that person would have either used a burner phone or had no phone at all in their possession.

I'd assemble the set of cell phones that pinged during the event, and then map those cellphone movements during the rest of the day. How many remained on campus? How many traveled to nearby homes? How many have not pinged at all since the shooting? Look for the cell phone that seems out of place.

I know it wasn’t the Secret Service.

The Security detail STILL should have had the rooftop issue covered. That is their job.

John Solomon (RAV/Just the News) was saying, earlier, that the bullet his Charlie’s bullet-proof vest and ricocheted to his neck.

No idea if this is even a possibility...from the look of the wound on his neck.

So right. Head shot he was 6 to 8 inches low. Center mass shot 6 to 8 inches high. Not the work of a pro.

A 200 yard shot with a zeroed in scoped rifle from an elevated position against a unobstructed sitting target isn't really that difficult.

Professional military snipers would be expected to hit moving targets at five times that distance.

The shooter likely aimed for center mass and hit a little high.

Yes, Charlie was wearing a bulletproof vest but if you've got a rifle, you're not too concerned about that vest.

Why wasn’t security checking the rooftops out.

I could be wrong, but I doubt a Turning Point speaking event has anything like the security detail of a major political rally by a leading candidate. And we shouldn't live in a society where someone speaking peaceably on campus as Kirk was wont to do, should need such efforts.

Yes, things will have to move indoors for a while I guess. And there’s gonna have to be some laws passed where anybody who’s in the peripheral or associated in some shape perform and supporting the shooter goes away for life. Similar to a hare crime, a political assassination has to come within insanely high levels of punishment for all involved.

Charlie didn’t have Secret Service protection. I guess that didn’t do POTUS a lot of good though.

Mostly local guys and some of his own. Obviously nobody on rooftops.

You would think they could use drones flying over the areas looking at rooftops or something.
