Rep. Rashida Tlaib will headline a Detroit pro-Palestinian conference featuring ex-prisoners, extremists
A controversial pro-Palestinian gathering in Detroit is drawing scrutiny for featuring speakers with extremist views—including two former Israeli prisoners released in a Hamas deal—alongside Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., a prominent anti-Israel congresswoman.
The second annual "People's Conference for Palestine" conference, which is being organized by a dozen different pro-Palestinian groups, will begin Friday afternoon and will end on Sunday.
Rep. Tlaib will speak alongside several individuals accused of espousing antisemitic rhetoric, including a professor who has compared Jews to Nazis, a journalist who quipped about Hamas kidnapping "several dozen hipsters" at "some sort of rave" on Oct. 7, 2023, and a high-profile activist who once said Israel is "built on the idea that Jews are supreme to everyone else" and lost her position on the board of a major philanthropic organization amid antisemitism complaints.

Rep. Rashida Tlaib might be a nutjob but the vast majority of Dems and a good half of Republicans are sick of financing Israel to the extent that we do. Does that make them “anti-Israel” too? Does this endless welfare for Israel ever end? On the contrary the money we send to Israel continues to go up every year while we are $37 trillion in debt. It’s insane.
What is Rashida Talib doing in our country?! And in Congress?

If Palestinians took over the whole country of Israel tomorrow, and "pushed them into the sea," as they say, Dems would make sure we increased their funding by 10 times over Israel.

What the hell are you talking about? I’m America First and want ALL of our money spent HERE not in any other country. If Israel can afford to give its citizens free healthcare and college (something Americans don’t have) they can afford to pay for things themselves.

U.S. taxpayers are subsidizing Europe's healthcare, and you have no problem with that. I could give you a giant list. But the only issue you have is money to Jews. Somehow, you don't want to stop giving money to our enemies.

I think you are probably one of those nutjobs who calls everybody antisemitic who questions the vast amounts of money we send to Israel.
