The Washington Post continued its war on the Trump Administration on Wednesday. It sparked an uproar as the paper doxxed sensitive information that has potentially put the lives of Defense Secretary Hegseth and others at risk.
The far-left paper published a piece alleging that Hegseth relies on a security force so large for personal protection that the Army’s protective unit had had to pause ‘critical investigative work.’ As is customary for corporate media outlets, the reporters for this Post piece relied on several anonymous sources to back up their ‘reporting.’
The Post claims this protection is included for Hegseth, his family, and even his ex-wives. Of course, Hegseth has good reason to worry about his safety, considering someone threatened to bomb his home in Tennessee last year.
The piece went on to recklessly publish information about Hegseth’s security detail. Specifically, the report says agents have been deployed to Hegseth family residences in Tennessee, D.C., and Minnesota.
While the Post reporters claimed they omitted information that could identify the guards’ exact locations, the Pentagon saw through their garbage excuse. After all, the paper provided a blueprint for a violent leftist to figure out the rest.
Chief Pentagon Spokesman Sean Parnell delivered a fiery response to the Post’s disgraceful action, especially following several previous leaks by the paper designed to sabotage the U.S. Military under Hegseth.
“In the wake of two assassinations attempts against President Trump, ICE agents facing a 1000% increase in assaults, and repeated threats of retaliation from Iran for striking their nuclear capabilities, it’s astonishing that the Washington Post is criticizing a high-ranking cabinet official for receiving appropriate security protection, especially after doxxing the DHS Secretary last week,” Parnell wrote.
“Any action pertaining to the security of Secretary Hegseth and his family has been in response to the threat environment and at the full recommendation of the Army Criminal Investigation Division (CID),” he added. “When left-wing blogs like the Washington Post continue to dox cabinet secretaries’ security protocols and movements, it puts lives at risk.”
Assistant DOD Press Secretary Riley Podleski also tore into the reporters, calling the story a lie and pointing out the media hacks’ callous behavior.
“How do these reporters sleep at night?” she wrote. “@PeteHegseth is not only the Secretary of Defense but a father.”
“This article, in addition to being false, puts him and all of his children at risk.”
If the Pentagon’s reaction was bad news for the Post, it’s now possible that the FBI will target them.
After noticing the piece, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) demanded an investigation, calling the Post hit job a “national security threat” and “treason.”
“WaPo just doxxed sensitive info about @SecDef’s SECURITY DETAIL,” she wrote. “This isn’t journalism, it’s a national security threat.
I’m calling on @FBIDirectorKash & @FBIDDBongino to open an official FBI investigation into the leakers and the hacks who printed it. TREASON won’t hide behind a press badge.
Who leaked? Find out. Arrest. Try for treason. Set an example for the rest of the deep-state sabotaging from within. Without aggressive prosecution, instead of draining the swamp the administration will drown in the swamp.
Give the public their addresses, the addresses of their parents and other relatives, their license plates and cars they drive, their churches and organizations to which they belong, their salaries and banks they use, and the schools their kids go to. Post this information on bulletins all over town along with their pictures. They need to suffer for their indiscretion.
Do the people that post this get doxed. what’s good for the geese is good for the gander
They should....................
Dox the reporter
i think that while the doxxing reporters are being investigated, they should also get a good Amish-style shunning-put their locations and other info out there and let it happen...
Have hannamizu and Dan Bongino ever been seen in the same room?
This sounds awfully familiar....
“but words mean things”
If it weren’t for people like in Washington Post, it wouldn’t be necessary.
” the Army’s protective unit had had to pause ‘critical investigative work.’”
As is the ComPost cares. They have been cheerleading the “defund police” for years.
I thought Bezos laid off all the extremists just after the inauguration. Lately he’s been too busy cruising his new wife’s pneumatic fun bags all over the ports of the Mediterranean to be minding the store.
Which author— of the WAPO hit piece, or of the opening post?
Exactly.
The left needs to experience the law of reciprocity good and hard.
A few grenades tossed through their front windows would be a good start.....
Time to set up the lie detectors in the Pentagon again.
EPU - what is your residence address?
Let’s wait - 1st for your response and second, for some action to take place.
That is what you are calling for after all.
I don't interact with doxxing psychos.
We'll just wait and see.
Rep Luna is my rep and she hasn’t disappointed.
Nah….. no grenades. Just good clean fun.
Hit Bezos where it hurts. Limit WaPo distribution to government agencies to a handful of copies. Eliminate their reporters from White House, Pentagon and other government agency briefings. Trump should pass the word that anyone in his administration who knowingly passes info to the WaPo will be fired.
Just bring in a demolishing ball and crane and take the place out. As the perps are getting out, take em out.
Sure miss the Washington Star...
