California is launching a $250 million redistricting effort to reshape all 52 congressional seats, with Gov. Gavin Newsom—eyeing a 2028 presidential run—undermining the state’s independent commission to favor Democrats.

Meanwhile, California faces skyrocketing gas and electricity prices, mass population flight, and crumbling infrastructure.

Victor Davis Hanson breaks down how Newsom’s redistricting strategy mirrors Texas in name only and targets Republican incumbents on today’s episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”

“What Gavin wants to do is he’s targeting Republican congresswomen and men. And he thinks that he can redraw the districts and put two Republican incumbents in the same district. And then, one will either drop out or they’ll have to run against each other and one will win, and they will be diminished by half. He doesn’t care about the 40% of his own state that won’t have any congressional representation. That’s not on his plan.”

“Copy cat?” That is the best you can do? How about an adulterous, lying bastard whose only desire is power?

California is already gerrymandered up to the eyeballs. Republicans are 40% of the voters, but only have 17% of the representatives.

Why don’t the residents recall the governor ?

A successful recall would be humiliating and destroy his chances for 2028.

They already tried that once, and he slithered out of it.

“******”*

It’s the same in Oregon.

Republicans hold 40% of State Senate & House seats but only 16% of Representatives at the national level.

Republicans usually get 40%+ in presidential elections as well.

Newscum is a cocaine fueled chameleon, an inept leader and a grifting sociopath.
He’s accomplished nothing except the destruction of California.

" Is Gavin Newsom Rigging California for 2028?"

The only change is he's no longer trying to hide it.

Not only does Newscum want to win the presidency, he also wants to win an Oscar.

In his mouse mind the two are absolutely one and the same.

Sicko!

Just curiously, does anyone need to rig the California vote to get a 100% Liberal outcome?

/

I’ve actually lost count of how many of the recall petitions I’ve signed.

Everyone not commie hates his Dancing In Ashes guts.

But machines and or commies in East Beijing ( formerly known as Sacramento ) count signatures,,,,so,,,,

Well, you know.
