After sixteen years, the most consequential political revolution in the history of the United States is drawing to a close. The current Ruling Class’s domination of the two major political parties is in shambles as the Democrat party is now controlled by true believers in Marxist Wokeism, and the Republican party has been taken over by Donald Trump and America First populists. The tentacles of the ruling elites that have long encircled both parties have been severed.
...
As long as there was peace and ever-growing prosperity, that arrangement went unnoticed by the vast majority of an apathetic electorate as the wealth and influence of the nation’s elites increased geometrically.
While the Ruling Class reveled in their power and influence, they ignored the gradual infiltration of die-in-the-wool Marxists into the hierarchy of the Democrat party. They were certain that a comparatively small cadre of true believers would never be able to take over a major political party. The ruling elites over-confidently believed they would always maintain their hegemony within the Democrat party.
Further, as long as the Ruling Class maintained its influence within the Republican party hierarchy, the Marxists’ gradual infiltration into the upper reaches of the Democrat party could be tolerated as part of the Ruling Class’s orchestrated charade of caring for the welfare of all Americans.

We can hope. The Democrat strategy should make them the regional, not national, party that they deserve to be. If Trump’s strategy works out, and they are not able to cheat on a grand scale anymore, the Democrats should never win another national election.
Stopped reading. Democrat 'leaders' are just the top of the 'useful idiot' food chain. Additionally, the next time you're at a friendly rally, look around the room: You/we are responsible for having let it happen. One can only hope - ahem - that we learned a valuable lesson.
Those with the real power are just lying in wait. This cycle begins again in 2028 if Vance can't secure a win, and I fully expect the next cycle to be especially brutal without some serious pushback.
So, be ready to either act, or fold. >3 years minimum to prepare...
Well, if there is peace and prosperity, either the governing class is doing the right thing or at least not screwing up badly enough for people to pay attention.
But beginning with Obama, the already burdensome yoke of taxation and regulation grew without limit and the shoveling of cash to the upper class for pet projects like subsidized "green" energy became blatant.
Ruling Class = the George Bush wing of the Republican Party
Bread and circuses.
It didn’t lose, it collapsed on itself from corruption and evil.
I think there is a strong generational component to this. A lot of people are tired of the stereotypical Baby Boomer. There is a growing sense, I think, that the country has declined while the generation that gave us Clinton and Obama have been in charge.
At the same time, the Millenials and Zoomers have fully realized that they have been handed a rigged game. The people in power want to stay in power and don’t much care about the rising generations. That’s almost unheard of in history. The old saying about a good society being one in which old men plant trees under whose shade they know they will never sit? America has not been doing that at all. Starter homes in many locations are now a million dollars. And wages have been flat for 50 years. But older people say “I got mine. Stop buying cappuccinos and then you can afford that million dollar house.” The Ruling Elite have screwed all the young people, and the young people know it well.
” ... they ignored the gradual infiltration of die-in-the-wool Marxists into the hierarchy of the Democrat party.”
I disagree. It seems to me that the ruling class is Marxist. Schwab, Soros and others. The reason the Marxist candidates are gaining control of the Democrat party is because the public has been sufficiently indoctrinated to allow the mask to slip. I would also guess that this is the ruling class’s response to the growing power and effectiveness of President Trump.
"Donald Trump possessed a trait that the ruling elites and their Marxist-inspired allies could never match. Trump could not only relate to and empathize with the “unwashed masses,” but he also thought, acted, and spoke like many of them.Trump is what you'd get if scientists created a hybrid by combining the genes of Benjamin Franklin and Archie Bunker.
both the Russian and Chinese Communist parties
never would have come to power in those 2 countries
with out
the Marxists in the United States help.
They were here then
and their commie spawn are still in our government.
They are on the cusp of handing our country and the world to the CCP.
This is the history our public schools made sure we never heard.
Push this out to everyone.

Not where I live. My son-in-law and daughter have a new baby and are looking at $200K homes in safe neighborhoods and 30 minutes from their work. Perhaps the definition of a "starter home" should filter out the "many locations" that are unaffordable for a young couple just starting out.
However I agree with the sentiment of your post about Baby Boomers and Gen-Xers (myself included) sometimes throw too much shade on Gen-Zers / Millennials by not appreciating that starter / minimal experience wages haven't kept up with inflation. And part of the rigged game that they inherited was they were told to go to college go to college go to college but not told to career plan first.
I career planned first. I asked programmers what it was like being them and what kind of training they were looking for if I wanted to impress them years later to hire me and promote me. They told me what kind of training was good, thus, I had a career plan mapped out before I finished 11th grade. College (BS in computer science from one of a handful of colleges) was part of it, with me knowing it would be worth it because I first validated the college training with the people who'd one day make the hiring decisions. And I worked full time the whole time I was in college doing very physical/sweaty work, while taking two or three courses per quarter. (Yep, I'm still pushing the work hard, young'un, message LOL.)
So I, a Gen-Xer, am an example of being in between Boomers and Gen-Z / Millennials. I, too, heard the college, college, college mantra, yet I chose the career first and let the career decide if I should go to college (and what to learn in college). The Gen-Z'ers could have done the same, especially with this thing called the internet to make it easier to find who to talk to for a real world description of what their careers are like. And don't cry about student loans to someone who worked 5-days per week in a warehouse while using my 2 off days for college (often Tuesdays and Thursdays) to minimize the debt while getting a real degree.
But the flat wages issue is real. Both illegal immigration and sky high H1B visa immigration to lower skilled wages has made it tough for Gen-Z. That's the part I feel sorry for them over.
agree
the ruling class are the masked marxists
they want the state to be primary
the unmasked marxists(aoc zohran etc) have been gaining more power
their goal is the same as all collectivists
a primary state
The Republican ruling class lost its hold on the party after Bush. During Obama, the GOP talked tough on issues like spending and immigration but then voted with the Dems. When they got called out on it, Boehner cried like a little girl about how his hands were tied and he couldn’t do anything to stop Obama. Trump forced the GOP to at least start following up talk with action. The Dems elite still are in denial.
There is reason for hope, but we're still a long way away from effecting real change. Shutting the border, securing DC, and draining Federal agencies were good steps.
The universities populated the latter with that elitist mindset. Trump has made positive moves in that realm, but there is a very long way to go, particularly in teachers' colleges. Dealing with the leftist monopoly on accreditation would be a good next step, one that would allow the likes of Hillsdale to franchise on the Internet.
"They knew that a glib Barack Obama was steeped in Marxist ideology and had long been a foot soldier for the cause."
Obama was a cypher (and still is, a bit like Jeffrey Epstein, Stephen Paddock, etc. ). I won't get into the birth certificate thing, but there is a lot of nebulous stuff in his past: Columbia, but no one seems to remember him, Jack Ryan's divorce records getting unsealed, etc., as if he had 'benefactors' clearing obstacles for him. Then, once he was in office, proceeded to, imho, turn the institutions supposedly there to protect the country inward against its own people.
It was Obama, not Biden, speaking in Philadelphia when half the nation was declared enemies of the state for all intent and purposes.
Putting on my tinfoil--if a country or organization were to have a candidate in place that could go full bore to try and destroy the USA from within, Obama fit the bill.
Another hate the Boomers post. Nothing is ever the fault of the Millennials or Zees. They are the perpetual victims of the evil elderly. You want to know what the ‘stereotypic’ Boomer did. The survived a childhood under constant threat of nuclear was without Prozac. If they went to college they majored in a marketable curriculum and then on graduation paid off their own college debt. They lived through the economic debacle of the 70’s while watching the good paying manufacturing jobs that supported the families they grew up in get sent overseas. They created the digital age to replace it. They cared for their parents as they aged. While at the same time raising their kids. And now that they are in their 70’s & 80’s they are reviled by the very kids that mom and dad both worked to support. The kids who had cellphones, the latest style clothes, their own car and a roof over their heads.
The biggest thing the Boomers did wrong is how they raised their kids. They tried to be their friends, they gave them everything. As best they could, they made sure their kids always had what everybody else had. They gave everybody a trophy so no one would feel left out. They were taught life had to be fair. And what did it get us? Two generations of whiny, ungrateful DEI supporting slackers who need safe places and trigger warnings. Perpetual children who collapse at the first hint of adversity. Generations who still want mommy and daddy or someone willing to play the part to protect them and support them. Boomers were married adults in their 20’s. Today’s kids are still living in the parents basements or off never ending allowances in the 30’s
I have family members from this generation that have openly said they are looking forward to the time the Boomers, their own parents are dead, because in their minds that will make the world a better place. Be careful what you wish for.
Excellent summation. The writer also omitted how those at the very top of each party actually collaborate for their best interests at the expense of ours (the Uniparty). The split parties seem, these days, an illusion meant to give commoners a foe to serve as distraction while their real enemy picks their pockets, indoctrinates their children and steals their future.

Franklin is one of Trump's culture heroes. Trump has featured a portrait of Ben in the Oval Office in both his administrations.
Franklin founded the University of Pennsylvania, where Trump did his degree in finance at the Wharton School of Business. There was a prominent classical statue of Ben up on a pedestal on the campus when Donald went there, and two others were added later on—a casual Ben seated on a bench where others can sit beside him, and Ben as a teenager when he ran away from Boston to Philadelphia to begin his adult life.
Secondly, the Old Post Office building in DC that Trump leased and transformed with renovations for his Trump International Hotel during his first administration had been, well, a post office—Franklin's position as the first colonial Postmaster as he helped win the American Revolution—and one of its attractions is a statue of Franklin on a pedestal out front:
