Abbas' advisor: "Emotionally Oct. 7 stirred the emotions of all of us". Criticizing Hamas for the "disaster" suffered by Palestinians because of Hamas' Oct. 7, 2023 massacre and ensuing war, PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas' advisor admitted that the massacre itself was "praised and cheered" by Palestinians. In fact, the murder of over 1,100 Israelis including over 800 civilians, the wounding of over 5,000, and the kidnapping of 251 "stirred their emotions"..

And on 9/11 they celebrated in the streets and passed out candy to little Palestinian children. But I’m supposed to feel sorry for them that they can’t kill all the Jews and steal their land?

They have a 99% approval rate by the Gazan Arabs to murder all Jews around the world and the destruction of Israel.

That’s what happens when you indoctrinate each generation from the time they are babies to hate your Jewish neighbors.

Hamas isn’t just those who are actively fighting the Israelis, but all those Gazans who support them, which is 2.1 million. Even if the Israelis are able to defeat today’s Hamas, the Gazans will just bring another generation into existence to do the same thing.

This is why they are not being bombed enough.

A quote from an 1899 book by Winston Churchill, "The River War", in which he describes Muslims he apparently observed during Kitchener's campaign in the Sudan

“How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property - either as a child, a wife, or a concubine - must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science - the science against which it had vainly struggled - the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”

Bad strategy on their part - all the attack of October 7th did was incur the wrath of what had been a sleeping giant.

And compared to the relative power that the Muslim forces can muster, Israel is indeed a giant.

Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind. Is there anywhere in the Quran a passage which states the same principle?

“Muslims all....Yes there are some Christians mixed in...but I’m sure they tow the Muslim line when told to do so.”

The politics there can be hard for others to understand. Christians do live under Palestinian rule, so they’re required to at least publicly behave like Palestinians when it comes to beating up on Israel, although they do get a pass regarding suicide-vests and other forms of terrorism. But they stay and do their best to protect their history in places like Bethlehem.

It’s been 23 years since I read the Quran and a couple of hadiths. All I remember is that it had a little bit of piety to make it sound like a legitimate religion, and a lot of commands to lie, steal, kill the Jews, kill the Christians, kill the non-Muslims, rape the non-Muslims (including boys/men), and every now and then try to be nice to the People of the Book (Christians and Jews) by jizya taxing them first to force them to convert before killing them.

But other than that it’s a nice religion.

A scorpion, unable to swim, asks a frog to carry him across a river on his back. The frog is hesitant, pointing out that the scorpion would likely sting him, killing them both. The scorpion argues, “That would be illogical. If I stung you, you would drown, and I would drown with you. What sense would that make?” The frog, convinced by this logic, agrees to carry the scorpion.

Halfway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog. As the frog begins to sink, paralyzed by the venom, he gasps, “Why? Now we will both die!”

The scorpion replies, “I could not help it. It is my nature.”

Many who consider themselves and call themselves Christians hate Jews, and want them dead as much as Muslims. It has always been that way. That is one reason it is hard for a Jew to trust a Christian. Many Christians believe that they replaced the Jews as God’s Chosen people. But in fact, Jews were Chosen for their purpose, just as Christians were. I have lived among all three groups - Christian, Jew, and Muslim. And the differences are startling. But they can live in harmony if they just let each other believe what they want to believe.

This is why any country that recognizes a Palestinian state is a traitor to Humanity. Palestine has never been recognized as a sovereign state and all attempts at being so have been rebuffed. It’s an area, no different than reference to the
“Mississippi Valley”, or the “Cascades”. They have been offered formal recognition five times since 1948 and have refused as long as Israel continues to exist. I hope Israel simply annexes the entire area and runs it as part of Israel in perpetuity.

The support for collective punishment is an evil, vile, backward instinct shared by many non-Christians (and many self proclaimed Christians).

Muslims around the world cheered the deaths of Americans on 9/11 because of our idiotic foreign policy in the Middle East.

The Palestinians cheered the death of innocents on 10/7 because of past evil actions taken against the Palestinians by the Israelis.

Israelis and many Zionist here on Free Republic cheer the deaths of 10’s of thousands of innocent lives in Gaza.

Collective punishment is evil.

Not "told".

Cheering on those waging Jihad as the Holy Koran commands.

In our world what we call terrorism, in their world is just Muslims doing as the Holy Quran commands them.
