President Donald Trump launched a scathing attack on Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell on Thursday, after the central bank again voted to leave interest rates unchanged.
"Jerome 'Too Late' Powell has done it again!!! He is TOO LATE, and actually, TOO ANGRY, TOO STUPID, & TOO POLITICAL, to have the job of Fed Chair," Trump posted to Truth Social on Thursday morning.
"He is costing our Country TRILLIONS OF DOLLARS," Trump continued, before calling the ongoing renovations to the Fed's D.C. headquarters "one of the most incompetent, or corrupt, renovations of a building(s) in the history of construction!"
Newsweek has contacted the Federal Reserve for comment.

I wonder about the interest rates from ‘27 to ‘29 as they soared from 5+ to 7+ just before the Great Depression starting in ‘29.
They dropped afterwards but was it one of the causative factors in the crash.

Just apply any tariff income to the debt and do it immediately. That will reduce the accruing interest through a back door.
I don’t think Powell is anti-Trump...and he believes he is right in holding to the present rates.
Well, when they were together the other day Powell sure was behaving like a jackass.....that doesn’t tell me he’s on board with Trumps agenda.
