The HPSCI report proves indispensable for understanding what supposed intel Obama withheld from the intelligence community under the guise of executive privilege.
Documents released over the last month have exposed a post-election plot designed to derail President Donald Trump’s first term. The recently declassified material reveals former President Barack Obama sought to continue the Russia-collusion hoax Hillary Clinton had launched during the presidential campaign by directing select members of his intelligence community to craft the deceptive Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russia’s efforts to influence the 2016 election. However, a close reading of these documents reveals Obama holds even more culpability than previously discussed.
As The Federalist reported earlier, the CIA’s review of the ICA established Obama not only knew of and “condoned the politicalization of the intelligence community, but that the former president directed the politicalization.” According to the CIA’s “lessons learned” analysis of the deceptive ICA released by the Obama Administration, on December 6, 2016, then-President Obama directed “then-Director of National Intelligence (DNI) James Clapper to conduct a comprehensive review of all available intelligence and provide the IC’s best assessment of Russian activities related to the election,” ordering Clapper to complete the review before Trump’s inauguration. And according to former CIA Director John Brennan, the White House worked with him to “established crucial elements of the process,” including directing the CIA to take “the lead drafting the report.”
That White House-directed process included sidelining the National Intelligence Council (“NIC”) which, under standard protocols held “control over drafting assignments, coordination, and review processes” for intelligence assessments. Not only that, but Brennan — the man Obama charged with leading the drafting of the ICA — also marginalized CIA and ODNI analysts, ignoring their conclusion that intel did not support the view that Russia “aspired” to...

Hillary couldn’t have lead that Russki scam. She doesn’t have the brains for that kind of scam. It had to be Barry Soetoro.
There was something nefarious about Obama’s first and second term Oaths of Office. Was it deliberately done to let him off the hook for the crimes he was planning? Could he say he wasn’t REALLY sworn in, therefore not responsible? Both times it was done in private...the first, after Roberts’ screwing it up...the second, private, then the next day public. Very odd and suspicious to me.
In the end...ZZZZZZZZZZ! I would love to see it but I probably ain’t gonna get the love. Disgusting? YUP!
It started when Hillary, under pressure to counter her email scandal, initiated the Steele Dossier, to fraudulently tie Trump to Russian election interference. This seemed to be a simple thing, since the US government knew the Russians were active in trying to disrupt the US elections-not for a particular candidate, but just to create mischief with the electoral process.
When the dossier got passed around inside the Intelligence Community, it was met with skepticism by those who didn't know it was fake to begin with.
The IC set up George Papadopoulos to reveal the Trump-Russian collusion hoax in April and May 2016. He was likely an unwitting participant. This allowed the FBI (who probably set up the whole thing to begin with) to open up an investigation that became Crossfire Hurricane.
Since the Steele Dossier wasn't really gaining any traction, it as fed to several friendly reporters, and finally printed at the end of October 2016.
Obama, Comey and the Democrats were probably convinced that Clinton would win, but wanted to have a plan to prosecute Trump after the election. The Russian Hoax was being set up to create a case against Trump that they hoped would ruin him once and for all. Comey was so confident, he released a letter late in October 2016 regarding Hillary's emails that had the effect of upending her campaign.
All of inside Washington was shocked when Trump won, and they realized that they could not prosecute the Russian Hoax. This led to the reassessment of the Steele Dossier, and the series of events that led to the case against Michael Flynn, the recusal of Jeff Sessions, the firing of James Comey, and ultimately the appointment of Mueller as Special Counsel.
They knew their case was phony, but believed that they could derail the Trump administration for years, and maybe it's entirety. As it was, the Trump administration had to deal with the fake investigation the same time it was trying to learn the workings of Washington, not knowing the full extent of the bureaucratic opposition within. Even that was not enough to derail the success of his first term, so they trotted out a worldwide pandemic that has changed the world forever.
Hilliary is RUTHLESS, and she does have an EVIL BRAIN, just like Obama.
Two thoughts:
1) Isn’t it interesting that the CIA concluded that the CIA wasn’t at fault for creating a false ICA — they were ORDERED to do it by the President. Yeah, that’s the ticket...we’re INNOCENT I tell ya.
2) As Margot Cleveland notes, Hillary Clinton, in deep water over her attempt to hide her crooked machinations via use of an unsecured private e-mail server, desired a parallel scandal to beset Trump, to even up the public’s perception of corruption.
WHO ORIGINATED THE PLAN to “investigate” Trump for espionage related to Russians operating and/or pinging a server in Alfa Bank, located in Trump Tower, then create media buzz to tarnish Trump with zero evidence? Were Hillary and her Dirty Pranksters up to this “CIA” level of skullduggery?
Did Hillary come up with the idea of hiring Perkins-Coie/Marc Elias to hire Fusion GPS/Glen Simpson to: hire Christopher Steele to hire Ivan Danchenko to gin up accusations against Trump; launder them through the DoJ/FBI/Senate Select Committee on Intelligence; get multiple FISA warrants to spy on Trump; recruit foreign intel agencies and operatives to set up Trump advisors; run ops on those advisors that destroyed their careers; etc.? Is it plausible that jerks like Sidney Blumenthal and Corey something whose name escapes me, planned and ran all this “CIA” level skullduggery?
How about we look the obvious in the face: the CIA conceived and caused all of this. Various political opportunists volunteered their help as this evolved into a multifaceted intel op of vast scale. Obama definitely participated. But WHO LIT THE FUSE? The 2020 false ICA was their parting shot. Let’s not get so focused on the icing that we neglect the question of who baked the cake.
We the people will continue to be denied justice.

And then, when the prosecutions fail, you can whine about that too.
The administration needs to do a searches of both Obama’s and Biden’s properties for presidential records relating to these charges, should be doable since the precedence to search private property of a former president has been established.
